Here are some photos showing 108 Im guessing in 1971 in Michigan based on the license plate. Someone sent them to me when we were researching 109 during restoration.

I am almost positive that Chris still owned the car and Harley represented it for him at BJ.
You are correct, it was black when it arrived at Harleys and we painted it blue and did a cosmetic restoration for the auction, Harley handled it for Cox.
There are photos of it being painted on our Facebook page, The Finishing Touch Body Shop, Inc.

We also painted 3017 quite a while ago, which is why my other post had that number, had them confused!

Here is 3017, the Supersnake twin Paxton car before being painted back to blue for the BJ Auction  where it sold for $5.5 m. It was black when we recieved it and had a whole 3 weeks to get it done for the auction catalog.

I used them on a Pantera I had, great work!

Great photos! We helped restore #109 a few years ago, had to look back at lots of period photos to get details correct. It wound up taking 2nd place at Pebble Beach in the GT40 class. Thanks for sharing!
