sounds good, I'll call you later.
For anyone that hasn't been to an International event, they are a lot of fun with no stresses. Lots of partying and entertainment. I'm sure Tony will have his tractor towing his engine display, seeing how it's in his back yard....

First International show for me since Calgary, should be a great time. Tony and I think you should come Ed. I'm going to bring my new/old boss 302 for something different.

I'm stunned and in shock, such a great guy, we only met a few times but he always remembered me. My heart and condolences go out to his family he left behind.
RIP

+1 on Pete Disher
It's a small price to pay for the investment you have in the car. 50 plus year old wiring is brittle and frail, leads to dim lights, poor continuity and just overall problems.
Ask me how I know...

I do pretty much everything on my own cars now.  I used to send out some of my parts for restoration, but because of high costs for shipping and hassle at border to bring back into Canada, and some good fortune ( bought a big tumbler to do suspension and other parts for $150  :) ).   I have an upholsterer that comes to my shop and does headliners and convertible tops, and he takes seats to his shop. It wasn't that long ago  I painted a couple of cars in my garage in a make shift paint booth and they turned out great. It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it...I got tired of shops wanting to charge according to the value of the car rather than what it actually costs...

Where are you from  ?
There are lots of car shows going on during that time, I'm live in Maple Ridge and there is a show every Thursday night that gets around 200 to 250 cars. Then there are shows every weekend from 250 cars to 1200 cars take your pick...

Thanks for all the replies, this car is a non running 69 Convert and does not have to go enclosed. I have used several enclosed haulers before with no issues but am having trouble finding and economical mode of transport so far., prices from $2700 to $3700.
I will get a quote from all your suggestions, and please keep them coming.
thanks again Arild
