The best stock looking OEM type to me are the Lakewood ďmuscle mountsĒ. They look like the stock ford pieces, but are interlocked.

Hi John,

I took the radiator out of CSX2079 (for a good cleaning). To this day it still has its original leaf spring wrap. Itís wrapped from the center mounting brackets section outwards through the inner aluminum panels to the ends. See pics.

I know you said you preferred NOS, but I have this and had been saving it for myself in the event I needed it. This has all the details needed. Question is how good is your metal guy at tack welding.
Anyway, itís just an option. Shoot me a PM and let me know what itís worth to you if you are interested . Iím very reasonable and not a parts shark. The same if thereís a particular pic  or detail you need to see. I brought this from California home to my NY home.

I too remember when Jack Schroll tried to get away with a cobra emblem welded onto the first gen Edelbrock Torker. He got it past a couple races but was eventually caught. His more recent busts involved fireworks...

Whatís funny to me is after looking closely at this personís auction pics and knowing whatís currently available on different avenues, is this person to me seemingly pieced this ďcobraĒ C4 pan together.
As an example, Craig Conley sells on eBay this ďcobraĒ emblem practically identical to whatís on an early Cobra or GT350 manifold. (Iím not picking on C Conley as this piece is available from a number of vendors, it just my example).
The person selling the pan, again to me looks like the similar pieces were fitted and attached (looks like tiny tig welds)/ tacked to a cheap cast pan, then painted. Look at my last attached close up pic. Doesnít that look like a seam? The emblem is raised and attached to the sides of the fins, and theyíre not even. Then painted ... pretty funny.  Itís guys and parts like this one needs to watch for.

As I recall, didnít B&M offer one? Polished Cast aluminum with fins on the bottom and the B&M logo in the center of the fins. The ones I remember seeing in magazine ads I think were not C4 applications. Anyway thatís what I remember. A Cobra one would be cool. Good luck in your search.

Is there a registry? My sister had a red w/blk stripes GT/CS CA lic # ZAZ235 (don't know why I remember that) 302 auto. She bought it a few months after the 69s were out so she got it cheap. It got Tboned and they fixed it. When it got hit it opened the door gap on the passenger side to about 3/4 of an inch. The AC vent on the drivers side never fit right after it got hit. I've still got the fog lights in the garage. I took them off for my new 70 Roadrunner before she sold it. Pretty sure they are the Lucas ones.

Yes, there is a Regisrty. Itís called MUSTANG GT/CS Recognition Guide And Owners Manual by Paul M Newitt. Itís a very nice and well done hard cover registry. It the same size as the SAAC Registry but not as thick, 224 pages color photos, history, owners by serial/VIN numbers etc. see pics. Iíll make a couple posts. I know you guys like photos.
Paul gave me one as a special gift and signed/autographed it as it was a limited edition piece. This was back in 2014 while I was VP of NorCal SAAC at the time.

Oh bummer, thatís too bad but not surprised. I go practically every year. This will more than likely apply to the Rolex Reunion at Laguna Seca, Concourso Italiano, events at The Quail etc. Okay August 16 2021 it is.
Until a vaccine is developed for this virus, Iíd expect most events to be cancelled or postponed.

Thatís for the Boss 302. Are those the sand cast  dominators and do you have the linkage for it? That will also require the offset distributor, but you knew that. How long have I known you some 40+ years??

I know where youíre going with this. We had this conversation before on the old forum V1.0 before the crash. A good number of early cars DID NOT have the spare tire hold down bracket in the trunk mounted battery location. They used the 64 mustang/falcon slot version attached in the interior between the upper rear shock mounts.
Later trunk mounted battery cars HAD the spare tire bracket next to the rear mounted battery in addition to the one in the interior for the spare.
Also, if I may add. These cars without the bracket are also SOME of of the cars without the clips and bungee cord for the jack and wrench.
