1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / high idle when warm
« on: February 24, 2019, 09:33:56 PM »
On a 1969 351, i'm experiencing a high idle after car is warm and running.  I notice it when i come to a stop, if i tap the gas, it does drop down to normal.  The hot air choke is disconnected, and carb plates are wired all the way open.  Sound like something in the carb, or still choke related?

1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / oil sending unit question
« on: July 30, 2018, 05:04:16 PM »
Need to be educated.  Are there two sending units on the block for a gt350?  My oil dash light is on, and my pod gauge is pegged all the way over.  I understand the sending units are different for a dash light vs an electrical gauge type. One unit doesn't connect to both, do they?

1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / 1969 sequential board replacement
« on: July 19, 2018, 08:16:13 PM »
Recently bought a replacement board for my directionals not working.  Was advised by a parts supplier that if i replaced the can flasher under the dash with an electronic flasher box i could just yank the 4 relays as the new board is not wired for them anyway.  Anyone heard of this?

Wanted to Buy / 1969 gt350 license plate lights
« on: July 19, 2018, 08:02:43 PM »
Anyone have a set of these or know who makes a repo?  These are the 2 bulbs on either side of the rear license plate, attached with 2 wires, one a pin connector, the other a ground.  My bulb receptacles are completely rusted out and unuseable.
