1965 Mustang Convertible

K Code

VIN 5F08K366799

36,000 Original Miles

I am selling my 1965 Mustang Convertible.  This is an all numbers matching vehicle that has been through a complete rotisserie restoration with replacements parts being NOS when available.

The vehicle has a Wimbledon white exterior, red interior and black convertible top.

This vehicle was recently judged by the Head MCA judge (Dan Trap) for this year vehicle  and received a SILVER award. Numerous items have been corrected based on the feedback from the judge. It would now be a strong candidate for a GOLD award at any National Mustang Club of America show in the Concourse Driven class.

The car contains the following options;

1)   289 HIPO Engine with 4 speed manual transmission
2)   9 inch rear end
3)   Arvinode Exhaust since the vehicle was produced in Nov 1964
4)   Style steel wheels including spare in trunk
5)   Back up lights
6)   Power top
7)   Console
8)   AM Radio
9)   Front and rear bumperettes

The vehicle was also fitted with an original rebuilt date code correct Carter Fuel Pump from Fred Ballard.

This vehicle is in the HIPO Registry.

This car was only driven when the sky was blue. Never driven in the rain, winter, inclement weather or on a stone road. It is stored under a cover in a heated/tempered air garage when not in use.

I have a NOS 1964.5 - 1965 - 1966 Mustang Lower Control Arm that I did not use for my restoration.  Part # C4DZ-3078-A. This is a very early build unit based on the number on the ball joint boot. It has been sitting on the shelf for a few years and has shelf wear on the surface.

It could use a little cleaning and detailing to become show quality.

The ball joint boot is in perfect shape with no tears

Please review the pictures for exact part condition.
