Question for the class; if the power steering pump on a 67 GT500 is over full, will it push fluid out? I have a little weepage  in the tray straight down from the pump and it is over full.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Fuel log and fittings
August 31, 2022, 06:10:57 PM
I am in need of a picture of the fuel log arrangement for a 67 GT500. I have my car in one shop and the engine in another. I believe my fuel log got mixed up with a new one and need to see what fittings we are missing. Thanks in advance.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Original engine
October 22, 2021, 11:33:21 AM
I have a May build 67 GT500. I am having some extensive resto work done and the engine is one issue. After the engine was pulled, guy said it looks from the numbers my 428 is a December 1966 date code. Is this possible, normal etc? Don't ask for the stamping as the car is 100 miles away. Thanks in advance.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 67 Gt500 oil cooler
July 04, 2021, 01:54:30 PM
Is the oil cooler placement the same on 67 and 68? I have a 67 that originally had a cooler on it (AC car) but due to an old accident, it had a new radiator support put on many decades ago and the cooler was lost. I have access to a 68 air car that is very original to look at if the placement is the same. Thanks in advance.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Cleaning 67 GT500 intake
May 28, 2021, 10:23:15 AM
I have taken the Holleys off of my car and have them in a local shop for a rebuild. My question is, what are you all using to clean up the aluminum intake? I would like to use something on the less toxic side for my personal well being if that is an option. Thanks in advance!

The Lounge / Late model Shelby’s
March 02, 2018, 12:44:36 PM
Question for the crowd. I have a 2010 GT500 I bought new with 17,000 miles. Had lots of fun with it but only drove it 1000 miles last year. I have been toying with selling it the last two years so I have been giving myself lots of time so I don't regret the decision. I am struggling somewhat today looking at it. My question is where do you all think the values of these will end up? I know they will never be like the old ones. I have a 67 GT 500 and 70 Boss 302 as well, so I won't be a total empty nester. Will they keep sliding down like any car does or will they flatten out at some point because it is a special halo car? Don't have to sell it I just thought if it is going go down to nothingness, maybe I better recoup some money while it's worth something. Thanks for you input in advance!
