1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / Gravel Guard question
January 15, 2024, 05:48:25 PM
For the studs on the gravel guard, are these just bolts threaded thru from the other side then cut and welded? I can see a dimple on the opposite side. I think both of mine are snapped. Thanks

SAAC Forum Discussion Area / plastic bead blasting
January 09, 2023, 08:43:43 PM
Does anyone have any experience with American Dry Stripping in Milford CT.? I am contemplating using them to strip all the fiberglass pieces from my car. Between remnants of the metal flake, and whatever they used to prep it to turn it back to a normal paint job, I could be scraping for a long time in some areas. From what I've read, the reviews look good but wondered if any one on here has used them or know someone that has.
Thanks!

SAAC Forum Discussion Area / Info on '69 #0361
July 07, 2021, 10:21:47 PM
Looking for info, previous owner name, background on 0361 especially story behind the traces of silver metal flake (not metallic, think vw dune buggies) found during tear down. This along with the traction bars and signs of what may have been wheels flares makes me think it may have been doing the quarter mile shuffle back in the 70s. Was evidently hit in rear in early 70s based on dates on labels on replacement parts used to repair. Have not been able to find anything on original owner E.M. Block from New Jersey. 2nd owner unknown but thought to be from PA. Spoke to who whom I believe to be the 3rd owner as the person I purchased from had held it with an open title. Any info or stories greatly appreciated. Tried to upload pics but received message the folder was full. Will try again when that is corrected. Thanks, Dennis
