March 28, 2023, 05:11:01 PM
Just been doing a bit of tidying up under the dash.. Not sure what this connection is for.. The swing away is not connected and missing some parts, so I thought it might be from that..
68 GT350, no air..

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Fuel Pump Replacement
September 23, 2022, 06:16:06 PM
So i replaced the fuel pump on the 302 because it was pumping 9 PSI and causing a couple of problems.. I brought a Carter replacement and it pumps at 8-9 PSI too..
Does any one sell a pump with the right PSI.. 4-5.5 or is it hit and miss.. I don't want to run a regulator if possible

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 67 control valve leak
January 04, 2021, 03:31:48 PM
Hi, I tracked the leak from the control valve to the zerk fitting.. I've taken the nipple off in the pic.. is this a seal issue ?.. or is there a bigger problem inside the valve ? Kinda strange place for a leak ..

Thanks

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Tunning Dual Carbs
June 19, 2018, 02:30:16 AM
Hi,  any initial setup and tuning tips when setting up the factory dual carbs on the 428.. i started with just cracking open the butterflies on the rare carb, then using the front carb to set the fast idle and set all idle mixture screws 1 3/4 turns out.. Car runs ok, but would like to know how others have done their initial setup..

There was some good information on the old forum, but that's long gone..

Thanks

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Brake Booster idle issue
April 13, 2018, 09:57:37 PM
Hi, Looking for some advice on my brake booster issues.. the car has been off the road for a few years while i did a number of tidy up things..
I decided to change the service replacement, bendix booster with a Midland Ross one.. I had the Midland booster rebuilt a couple of years ago. So a few weeks ago i installed it and the problem i am having is when you touch the brake pedal the RPM increases by 150 - 200, Which didn't seem right.. So i took it out and sent it to the Brake shop where they went back though it and said all looks fine. Holds pressure etc.. I put it back it today, and same problem.. Something is not right.. frustrating..
