Anybody knows the length of a 67 GT500 with 4-speed drive shaft from front center of hole to rear center of hole.

Hi Guys,
The picture shows me at Terminal Island in L.A. packing some parts into the trunk before driving the car into a container for shipment to Sweden. This was the first week of June 1977 and I had just bought the car in Huntington Beach.
10 years later I moved to Texas but the car stayed in Sweden.
Was young and beautiful then, now I am only and.

Hi guys,
My 67 Shelby GT500, 67402F7A01317 was ready at San Jose on Jan 31, 1967.
As I have understood it, the engine (428 8V) was installed by Ford. That includes the COBRA
air cleaner and my question is:
Which type of air cleaner shall my car have?
Bottom as well as top lids?

Good morning guys,
Hope you are doing fine.
Have a question:
Can any of you tell me what a typical 4-Speed transmission
ID tag says or better yet a picture.
RUG? what letter(s) after the RUG
My car was assembled at San Jose in the end of January 1967 
which means the trans was assembled sometime in Nov-Dec 1966.

1965 GT350/R-Model / 1965 GT350 Cobra Vent Caps

Hi guys,
Have a couple of questions for you:
Just vent through the 1965 SA Parts list and found something I didn't know. Listed is
a clamp for the hoses going through the floor board from the Cobra Vent Caps.
Listed on page 58 is this clamp with article number S1MS-10721-A. Does anybody know if this clamp was used
in production and do you have a picture or other information about it?
The hoses are listed as S1MS-10720-A. Does anybody have an original to measure the hose, outside diameter, inside diameter
and length?

The Lounge / My health

As many of you know, I got a strep infection after a Dentist cleaning and two heart valves were destroyed.
6 weeks after surgery I feel like an animal farm after one valve come from a cow and the other from a pig.
Also got a pacemaker installed. No matching serial number any longer. Got home yesterday with a wheelchair and walker.
Like to thank all my friends who visited me at rehab, Doctors and Nurses at Medical Centre of Plano, TX and above all my family.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Power Brakes and Paxton

Hi guys,
Need your help as usual. A friend of mine in Sweden, former NHL player Daniel Tjernqvist, owns a 67
Shelby, #153 equipped with a Paxton. He still has problems with his brakes. No power assistance.
The booster has been replaced to no avail. Vacuum at idle is 12-13 inches of Mercury which seems too low to me.
My 67 with a HiPo makes 15-16 and brakes works fine. A race shop owner in Sweden just looked at the car by opening the hood
and said, the Paxton is the problem as it creates pressure and the booster works on vacuum.
Is he correct? Many 67's are equipped with Paxtons and I wonder if they have the same problem.
Any expert ideas?

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Slip Yoke Differencies

My friend Roland in Sweden needs your help. He bought a slip yoke from NPD and it doesn't fit like it should.
It should slip easy in and out but he has to force it into the trans. Is there any difference between slip yokes?
Originals and replacements. His car 6S923 is equipped with the original all aluminum T-10 M. Dated Dec 4 1965.
His car has the rubber bushing which I suspect doesn't fit the replacement yoke and blocks the yoke from sliding in.
Any idea how to resolve this. He prefers not to pick the trans apart. Maybe an original yoke would solve the problem,
Anybody has one for sale? His trans works like a charm (new) and has never been apart.

Does anybody have a picture of the Original Koni Document placed in the glove compartment on most 65"s.
Also, did they change the appearance of the 66 Koni Document and when did the change, if any, occur?

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Claude Dubois Registration Paper for 6S923

Hi guys,
Went through some old folders and found this document from Claude Dubois showing some kind of Registration Paper "Certificat
De Conformite"  for 6S923. My friend Roland and I bought this car in Sweden 1982. It was bought in Belgium 1974 from Claude
Dubois and imported to Sweden.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 67 Shelby Brake Problem

A Swedish former NHL player bought a grey early 4-speed 67 GT350 (#0153) and his brakes acted up.
When he stopped at a red light and held the foot on the brake pedal the car started shaking and finally die.
I sold him an extra Midland Ross booster I had which was repaired by a company in Dallas.
Roland, my Swedish friend installed it. Now almost a year later (almost no miles driven) the brakes act up again.
Roland took the booster apart but couldn't find any fault with it. He followed the 67 shop manual
and created a tool to measure the adjustment on the rod. It should be almost an inch from the edge of the
spacer to the middle inside of the tool. He then realized that the distance between the opening of the backside of
the master cylinder to the end of the piston was more than one inch. Shouldn't the tip of the adjustable rod
just touch the end of the master cylinder piston? Does he have the wrong master cylinder and can this cause the
problem in question. Roland tested the booster and it doesn't leak. Vacuum at idle is 13-14 inches of mercury.
car is euipped with a Paxton.
Any help would be appreciated

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 67 Light Bulb Retaining Ring

Hi guys.
One of the bulb retaining rings have separated on my 67 Shelby so I need a replacement.
The one needed is for the outside head light bulb for I believe 5 3/4" head lights.
Probably a larger Ford with 4 headlights used the same.
Anybody have a partnumber and a place where I can find one.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 67 Door Panel Removal Tool

Good morning guys,
In order to fix a passenger side window problem, it won't move,
I must remove the De Luxe Door Panel on my 67 Shelby and don't know
which tool to use. Need suggestions how to get the clips unplugged
as well as removing the plug covering the door handle screw. This without
harming the door panel.
