Watching Adam 12 reruns.Yesterdays episode(I believe called "bright boy")had a white /blue stripes 66 in the background at about the 20 minute mark.Todays episode titled "Cigarettes, cars and wild wild women" had the "wild women"being arrested practically on the hood of a grabber blue 70.Go figure...

What ya got?I present late 60s early 70s (rare orange bars) bay standard aloha surf racks.Had a (much worse )pair of these on my 67 when I used it as a daily driver at college in La Jolla during the 80s ...These are near mint.Guy I got em from in a board deal said his late brother had them on his 72 nova (I didn't hold that against him :D)

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Coronavirus anxiety therapy
March 20, 2020, 07:31:02 PM
Had a break in the rain here in L.A. so I took my 67 out....Something about running a big block through the gears offered a welcome distraction from our new reality..Driving stick required an interactivity that was refreshing....Plus ,even though it's only been 3 weeks,I forgot how skiboat like that thing feels with all that torque.I recommend it.Added bonuses were light traffic and that I couldn't possibly be more "socially isolated" in my comfortweave and brushed aluminum cocoon.A nice break(plus I saw zero cops which made things "less stressful " for sure)Stay safe.

Today's word jumble (at least in the L.A. times)has (as the clue)"The race car drives had his own line of deodorant called......" You know the solution. My question would be if anyone knows whether the estate still owns the trademark for pit stop.If so I smell (pun intended) a lawsuit ;)

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Clicks on your 67
February 09, 2019, 07:15:22 PM
Took my 67 for a romp today and my odometer rolled over(which means it only has 14 miles on it now, right? ;))Anyhow it got me wondering if 100k was a high number of miles,or low for a 52 year old ford..So,how many miles on YOUR 67?

SAAC Forum Discussion Area / Shelby’s undervalued?
January 17, 2019, 01:22:33 PM
I know I am biased ;) but does anyone else feel that Shelby's in general (with a few exceptions I.e. 65s/kr convertibles/r models) are undervalued in relation to other muscle cars given their uniqueness /rarity?Love to hear what folks think on this one.....
