Parts For Sale / 67-69 New OEM No-Zerk Tie Rods
November 20, 2023, 02:58:08 PM
Three sets of new OEM tie rods without grease zerks for sale - two outer sets and one inner set.   These were made by original manufacturer for Ford and were sold as early replacements by either Moog or TRW.   Casting and other details are identical to assembly line parts.  The only identifier is the stamping on the lower metal disc. One of the outers has a B mark that has been over stamped.
The stamps can easily be removed with dremel or other means.  The dust boots are the later style without the visible metal ring that was on the earliest version. (metal ring is encapsulated in the rubber).   The boots can be easily replaced with NOS or repros such as Scott Fullers, and will fit perfectly.
Selling as sets of two,  $175 for inners and $150 for outers plus shipping.   Please PM for details - photos attached.   Thanks, Kurt.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this.

67 GT 350 4spd - after downshifting to second and going around a corner, as I lightly begin to accelerate I will hear a short 1-2 second rattling sound that appears to be coming from near the passenger side front floor or tunnel area.
Almost sounds like a loose heat shield would on a modern car - but no such thing is there just a stock exhaust system.
Would it be possible something loose in the transverse muffler or resonators that could  be transmitted to the front?   I have gone under and banged around on the exhaust and could not replicate.
Any ideas?
Kurt.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Marti Radiator Hose
June 03, 2020, 06:14:38 PM
I recently bought a set of "Concours"  Marti  clamped and stapled radiator hoses for my 67 GT350 from NPD.  The top hose is WAY too short (by about 2").  Lower hose is fine.
Has anyone had the same experience?   Original stock radiator, stock water neck, stock motor mounts.  Any help appreciated.

Parts For Sale / 66-70 Shelby Rear Shock Clones NOS (SOLD)
September 25, 2019, 03:13:20 PM
These New old stock Gabriel shocks are the perfect stand in for the original factory FoMoCo or Autolite shocks found on the rear of Shelbys produced from 1966 through 1970.
Though not adjustable, they were made by Gabriel in the same design and dimension as the originals.   They have about the same firmness as an adjustable shock on normal setting.   Correct bell shaped top and bottom and spot weld pattern on tops.  Fine thread studs as original.  New in orig. boxes with hardware.
These could simply be painted the right shade to match your year, or further detailed to remove the printing or even have engraved with the correct printing if desired.  A great economical way to make your car more correct.
I have collected these over the years and have enough to make 3 or 4 sets. They almost never come up anymore.
$150 per set plus shipping.  PayPal friends and family-- please PM me for info or questions......  Thanks,  Kurt.

Can anybody in the Tulsa area comment on recent flooding and if any affect anticipated for the meet?   This has been a very active weather year and I hope things quiet down soon as it makes one think twice about the risk bringing a car to the event.
