Hey Gents - need to ask you another technical question. This time on the vacuum line that runs between the power brake booster and (I believe) to the back of the (Cobra) intake manifold.

I need to know what is correct and what the vacuum line consists of.

On one end, I know there is a rubber line that connects to the check valve on the booster, but what does the other end of the rubber line connect to?

Does the rubber hose connect directly to a fitting that is screwed into the Cobra intake? or does it connect to a steel tube which then is supposed to connect (somehow) to the Cobra intake?  I pasted a link below of the tube in question (which is for a 67-68 small block Mustang), but I assume this is not needed on a Shelby due to the alum Cobra intake?  A pic would be worth a thousand words.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / question for the experts

Hi Gents,
I am doing a clutch job on a 67 350 and want to replace the equalizer arm as the pivot holes are all hogged out. Car has a 289 K code HiPo in it and I see where the equalizer arm is unique to the k code vs a regular 289.

The car has Tri-Y headers on it.

Is the equalizer arm for the K code differently shaped to clear the original K code exhaust manifolds (which I know were differently shaped compared to the non-K code exhaust manifolds)?

Can I just buy a new non-K code equalizer bar since this car is running Tri-Y's?

1965 GT350/R-Model / Shelby Gauge Pod

Hi,
I have a fiberglass gauge pod that I believe has never been used. Trying to determine if it is an original item.

When viewed from the backside, it has rough fiberglass that can be seen (mostly in the 'middle' where the gauges mount) as there is also fiberglass matting which covers the upper and lower areas.

The outside of it is smooth for the most part. I would call it a flat to semi flat black paint on it.

No holes are drilled anywhere in it (so I do not think it was ever used/mounted).

I think the previous owner put what I believe to be original black wind lace around the entire edge of it. I slightly moved it to the side where the ends of it meet and found that it can be easily removed. Maybe it cam with it from the factory? It looks good on it, but not sure it is original or not. 

Quite dusty as it was sitting for decades, so I am going to photo it as is and then probably wash it and photo it again.

Any info out there on original fiberglass pods?
