Thanks in advance for any replies-

On 1604, mounting bolt - front caliper to mounting bracket-  I have one bolt that seems to work itself loose wondering if I am under torqueing the bolt? question what is proper torque setting for this bolt.

Unrelated question, is the H pipe supposed to be coated black similar to the headers?  I am installing Scott Fuller exhaust system and want to make sure coating is correct for this year.  If so, is there a certain ceramic code ?  Maybe I am overthinking this one....

Thanks for any help

Wanted to Buy / fan shroud for 1604
November 25, 2020, 03:28:50 PM
As I took out the radiator last night for a bit of work I discovered that the fan shroud is not original so I am now on the hunt for an NOS replacement.  Please message me if have one you would like to sell.

Cheers

Has anyone used Brass Works in Paso Robles, CA for radiator work.  Just looking for a thumbs up or down.  PM works as well.

Thanks again

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / a few questions for 1604
October 13, 2020, 11:44:35 PM
Members,

A few questions-

I read the recent post about Scott Fuller exhaust systems which was helpful and has sent me down the path of replacing mine.  As I request date code specific from Scott what would be the appropriate date code for exhaust on 1604 which was delivered in April built during the first half of March.

Last question, as winter approaches I was planning on taking out the radiator and alternator given Jim Cowles is closed ( note on front page of his web site) where are the next best location(s) to send these two items out for repair / rebuilding.

Thanks

Wanted to Buy / 1966 drip rails
February 19, 2020, 06:18:50 PM
Happy Sunny Wednesday from Portland, Oregon... a rare day this winter!

For some odd reason the drip rails on 6s1604 have been screwed in place at several locations- assume that is not typical since two of the screws slightly protrude thru the topside on one of the rails.  That leads me to my request- looking for set of drip rails that are NOS or rebuild to that standard.

Thanks Cory James-

Wanted to Buy / 1966 magnum 500 wheels-
January 25, 2019, 04:23:30 PM
If you attended Marcus Anghel's open house last week you may have noticed my car 1604 sitting in his shop was missing a spare tire.  Over the last two years I have been fortunate with the help of forum members to locate 4 original magnums.... thought I would try again and see if anyone has one they would part with... willing to pay market price and shipping costs.

Thanks

Hey guys, I am no where near as versed as the experts and in the old forum I would just search this topic but in the new world post melt down I will put out to the group attached are pictures of the master cylinder I just pulled out of my car... is this original? And if so or not how do I tell ?  And finally to make this an efficient post is this worth rebuilding?

Thank you for the replies.
