1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Help with broken fuel gauge
« on: August 24, 2020, 10:59:15 AM »
I need some advice on where to start the diagnosis for my broken fuel gauge. I installed a new sender recently but now the gauge stays on full while the car is running.

Where should I start to get this thing reading correctly?

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Loose connections under dash. What are they?
« on: March 06, 2020, 05:05:56 PM »
Does anybody know what these connections are for?

There are 4 unplugged connections that are behind and to the left of the radio. Everything seems to work okay except for my clock, which has never worked since I bought the car.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Alignment specs after Shelby drop
« on: February 29, 2020, 12:52:07 PM »
I finally did the drop in my car last weekend but now I need to get it aligned. I've seen several recommendations for the proper alignment specs but thought I would ask. One suggestion I saw was:

Toe 1/8" in
Camber -1/2 to -1
Caster +2 to +3

What should I go with?

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Carpet Choices
« on: February 09, 2020, 09:54:29 AM »
What carpet would be the best to put into my 350? My current carpet isn't original and it has some tears and the threading is coming apart in a few areas.

My car is nowhere near concours so I'm just wanting to install something that is good and not necessarily the exact match to the original carpet. I can always change when I decide to do a full restoration (which is years down the road).

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Steering Box/Linkage Replacement
« on: February 06, 2020, 02:37:49 PM »
So..... it's been a while since I've been on here. I haven't driven the car much lately but I'm itching to get some things fixed up and ready to go before spring rolls around.

All of the steering linkage on my car is the original stuff and it floats all over the road. I have all of the parts to replace the old worn-out stuff and I was wondering if I should replace anything else while I'm doing the linkage.

I like to get my parts from since they are about 20 minutes from my house.

Any suggestions?

Thanks all!

Hey all,

I recently started designing shirts and I just launched my website. I have a few shirts on there now (mostly Shelby since I am quite biased) but I'm adding shirts daily.

I would love for you all to check it out!

I'm also on Instagram.

Let me know what you all think or request some designs!

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Non-OEM Upgrades. What Have You Changed?
« on: July 27, 2018, 12:05:16 PM »
We used to have a thread like this on the old forum and I always thought it was nice to see what changes or upgrades some of you have made to your car.

Mine is a '67 GT350. I've added an exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, new Koni's as of last week, an aluminum radiator (until I restore my original), Pertronix Ignitor and a Flamethrower coil. Not too much. Everything else is original or correct.

What non-original upgrades have you made to your car?

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Suspension Picture Thread
« on: June 13, 2018, 10:39:23 AM »
I'm just starting a suspension picture thread for information purposes. We used to have a topic like this on the old site and I think it was beneficial. Also, I changed my coil springs and leaf springs last summer but I'm not extremely happy with the stance and handling.

Here's mine with 1967-70 Coil Springs 1" Drop Small Block and Eaton ML459 Leaf Springs..... I think. Not 100% on which leaf springs I put in.

I would like to tighten up the feel. I need to do the Shelby drop in the front, which should get the front closer to where I want it. I'd like it about an inch lower in the front.

The rear is pretty bouncy. I'm open to suggestions for improving the handling.

Ignore the incorrect side stripes and pinch weld!

Feel free to add any pictures with details.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Radiator Restoration
« on: June 04, 2018, 03:22:49 PM »
My radiator is in need of restoration. I contacted Valley Radiator in Green Bay a few weeks ago to get a quote but I can't get in touch with them now.

My radiator is in need of a re-core badly. Capacity is way down due to a lot of blockage and the car runs pretty hot.

My car isn't a show car so should I just replace it with an aftermarket radiator for now? Does anybody have a link for one that will work? There's a lot of options out there so I'm needing some guidance.
