That was quick Steve, delete some of your comments and make my post look meaningless.
I loved 2295 and still miss it.

Gee, I must be getting old. I seem to remember driving SFM6S2295 in photo R3-12 to Hershey. I had purchased it from Fred Pazzano? in Maryland, June, 1977. Steve, owning multiple Sheby's and the aging process makes it easy to mix up times and places. At least u still own a Shelby.

Thanks for the tip. Most of the scratch's are surface flaws but one appears to have a slight crack. Not sure if it could be repaired to quality standards.
Maybe I'll attach a gold chain and wear it as bling. Not that it I'll impress anyone except me.

I have an original but it has hairline cracks in the clear plastic. Is there any way to repair or replace the clear plastic covering the cap? It's not for sale, not that anyone would want it in it's current condition.

Oh well, Dearborn. I fondly remember the elevator races in their lobby.  And the out of control speeders on the interstate behind the hotel. And Dearborn police getting upset over bottle rockets exploding all over that interstate. Also the late night high speed run to Dearborn on the PA and Ohio turnpike. Getting there was half the fun and quick. All the conventions I attended were priceless.

Is that a 66 real-wood steering wheel?  Needs some help.
