Carolina Region SAAC / 46 Ford Deluxe Advice
June 15, 2022, 10:17:21 PM
Hello fellow members.  My apology this isn't a Shelby / Mustang related question but thought someone in the Carolina region might have some advice.  A friend of mine inherited her father's 46 Ford Deluxe Sedan.  I said I would reach out to some of my contacts to see if I can help her sell the car.  I will be compiling some details.  It appears solid but a mechanical project since it hasn't run since 2013.  If anyone has any interest or advice on where we might focus that would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Wanted to Buy / Schmerler Ford License Plate Frame
June 20, 2021, 03:38:43 PM
Hello Upper MidWest club members.  I am in NC but I have a Bronco that was originally sold thru Schmerler Ford (Elk Grove, IL).  It's pretty much stock, still has the dealer decal on the back.  I am looking for a license plate frame from that dealership.  It's no longer in business but thought maybe someone on the forum might have a lead on one for sale.  Thanks!  Greg P.

I know it has been a long time since you listed these but curious if you still had the 67 Jack?

I just completed a rebuild early this year and recorded all of the part numbers for the misc parts. I have owned the car over 40 years and know the history and owner before me. These are original for a J-code with a Nov 1967 build date.  WP C8AE-8A528-F.  CP C80E-6312-G.  Hope this helps.

It's hard to get excited that someone with a large investment portfolio has invested in a car that they will probably never drive from another guy who had a large investment portfolio who never drove the car. And we celebrate because those investors spent more than a similar group who chose Bullit as their investment of choice.

Concours Talk / Re: Scissor jack identification
September 16, 2019, 08:05:55 PM
Hello Todd.  Sorry for the delayed response.  I ended up having to travel out of the country so didn't have a chance to touch base.  I checked and I need the 13/16 version so unfortunately I don't think this one will work for my situation.  But if I change my mind I will let you know.  Likewise, if you find a '68 w/ 13/16 drive please let me know.  My email is greg.patterson@porticos.net.  Thank you.  Greg P.

Hello Todd.

I know it has been a while since you listed the question but curious if you sold either of the jacks?  I am looking for an original jack for the '68 and would be interested.

Thanks,  Greg P.
