The Lounge / Never really understand the logic behind it??

In Lieu of what is going on right now on SAAC forum, When the new forum had to be established, I never understood why some of you "Experts" had to put in your signature your "Original post" number.

Who cared??

We know who you are and we know who to go to when we need some solid information on a certain Shelby or part.

Newbies would find out soon enough who the most knowledgeable here are.

So, with that said, who freaking cares how many post someone had or has!!

I don't care , Do You?

2006-up Shelby GT/GT-H / Re: Show us your Shelby GTH memorabilia

Still don’t say anything of the $50 the Lady wanted for it. I thought that was too much. All I seen was a shirt that sold for $179 and several hats.

Don’t matter, didn’t buy it anyway

The SAAC is a great organization for many reasons, but most of all, it protects the provenance of the the 65-70 Shelby's as well as early Cobras and GT40's.  The later renditions will never be as valuable as the first ones are but they are important vehicles because they proliferate the brand name.

As far as clones, recreations and such they are okay as long as they don't get presented as original 1st generation cars. Most folks don't know the difference and don't care to find out, they just see pretty colors.  The original first generation cars are works of art and collected as such.  Can they be faked, sure they can, but that is why the SAAC is so important.

I truly don't understand the backlash, I read what the OP presented and he was butt hurt because the "experts" weren't key board ready to unveil all the answers.  You have to research, make friends, ask, be humble in knowing the answers are out there and someone will help you.  Enjoy the journey grass hopper  ;D
Very well said ;)

Yea she is always a very nice woman. I was just saying “Looks like” wigs because how wigs poke up at the crown of the head. And they do have a lot of makeup on.

Sometimes a woman’s beauty is not gaged by the makeup she wears  :)

Oh those great Hurst products
Look at that beauty sitting in the center background. She has natural beauty!!

Unlike Vahn and the other woman. Looks like they have wigs on and a ton of makeup.

Left: Thomas Edison, Right: Henry Ford
Harvey Firestone was often around.  The three of them took "camping" trips together.  Which included big tents, Victrola's, cooks.....

Their idea of camping was calling for room service twice.

Even though Ford was insanely rich, I remember reading that they did enjoy "roughing it', and took long road trips in Model T's.  Remember Ford and the bunch grew up in times before electricity and running water in every house, so it probably reminded them of the 'good 'ol days'..

A Youtube video on their excursions:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1qXzrwNoTo&feature=emb_logo
That was a cool video :D

Thanks for sharing Brian 8)

BTW, was that HF climbing the tree :o
