Parts For Sale / 428 CI Service block for sale
May 25, 2022, 07:45:00 AM
I am selling a bare 428 service block.  It has never been machined.  Price is $2700.00 and can be delivered to SAAC-47 or shipped on pallet at buyers expense.

Not a problem I will likely ever have, but also not a problem I would want to discuss on a public forum.

I rarely post on the forum, mostly because of minimal knowledge base, but i certainly learn a lot.  This forum is a great benefit to all, the annual publication is very informative, the annual SAAC convention is certainly a lot of fun.  However, protecting the integrity of the marque and putting a spotlight on situations such as this, is the most important benefit to keeping this "club" viable for all Shelby enthusiasts.

Don't know who they think will be documenting these cars nor in what Shelby Registry. They most certainly will not be in the SAAC Registry, even with an asterisk.

The current Cobra Registry documents CSX continuations, Kirkhams, and even Autokraft.  Will these be deleted from the proposed new registry?

1965 GT350/R-Model / Re: STOLEN 1965

Met Scott several years ago at SAAC event at VIR.  Really nice guy, great story and glad he got his car back.  Can't help but feel sorry for the guy that had it all those years.  At least he was able to enjoy the car and took good care of it.

Looks like lights used to illuminate the Racing numbers for night races.  Very commonly used on FIA cars in europe.

Car looks great and sounds great.  I love the black on black look.  Also like the no stripes (wish I had left them off of mine.)

Have fun and be safe!!

Thanks Ron for your diligence in getting the site up and running again.   Also, I would like to thank all the moderators and registrars for all you do to keep things organized for the benefit of the hobby.
