After reading " inside Shelby American" by John Morton, and of course seeing the film, i wondered if Charlie Agapiou would ever write a book- given his lengthy time with Shelby and also with Ken prior to working at SA. Would be a great read........................... or am i gonna have egg on my face cos he already has?? :-[

Beautiful car.

Is there anywhere you get to run it thru it's paces? I have been told every mile of your roadways are monitored with cameras.

Or is that not factual?

Well its not that bad here in the uk.  you can...er.... "let her hair down once in a while!!!"

According to one of the (very informative) Cobra books "AC Cobra -The Truth" by Rinsey Mills (page 31), two companies were used to do the Bodying on the AC Cobras prior to be shipped to Shelby, one of the was Bronlow (Brownlow? ) engineering in Edgware NW London, the buildings are still the same today , only about half a mile from where i live - but i believe some plans to demolish in the future. Are there any old pics or info on this on this site?             john

My dear dear gentlemen, from an englishman..... A) we don't read the guardian  B) we don't listen to film critics!  we know this film will be brilliant!!!  the critics just "won't get it", you see when they reviewed the Hunt/Lauda film they knew the story beforehand- but know sod all about this one!! The trailer looks awesome , it'll be great.      john    in edgware

Hi are there any ford/shelby experts on the crew or mechanics jackets of the 60's? blue, RN 53335 on label 3 blue stripes on left, cobra on wheels patch, ford patch on left arm + cigarette pack pocket, stars n stripes patch on right arm, faux fur lining, zipper stops short of jacket as it also has a tie up at the bottom. not a repro ( modern copies have different ford patch and label with details)

any one have any knowledge?
john (London England)
