1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: 1969 Shelby Grabber Yellow on ebay
« on: August 21, 2020, 05:37:29 PM »
Just wondering if anyone saw the yellow 69 Shelby GT350  on ebay right now . Ive been watching it now for few months , its been on there off and on. Now the price is dropped down to 64K . Seems like a very good deal. Any thoughts on the car ?
Good price on a 69 GT-350, a yellow 1970 sold on BAT recently for $85,000 plus $4,200 fees.  Have someone check-out for rust on quarter panels, and bottom of doors. Listing say for sell by private owner, checked other item for sells shows lots other cars listed and sold.  Good buy if everything checked out.

Do you have your amp meter connected?  the power need go through the meter before into the  fuse block.  Have to rewire a GT-350 the previous owner done.  bought a diagram from  www.classiccarwiring.com it shows in color and solved the mystery.

Purchased my new 1969 model GT-500 in April 1970 from Joe Meyer Ford Dealer, few month later hit the curb in the rain. two rims come loose from the aluminum hubs. flew off in the distance.  the aluminum hub shattered, and punctured through the inner wheelwell and come out the top of rear quarter.  Ford dealer repair the damage on the body. never mention anything about the recall. I have to replaced 4 wheels with American Mags.  Just purchased a 69 GT-350 few months ago. The car still have three glued wheels, and one wheel have 5 square head bolt on the back.  Don't recall ever received any recall on the car back on those days.

Just received my set of 4 wheels from Paradise wheels from California. They are identical to the factory wheels except better. Chrome work is beautiful and center aluminum bright polished. What set off the difference is in the back.  The Paradise wheels spokes are welded to the rims, where factory wheels are glued not even riveted. I broke two wheels on my 69 Shelby back in the old days. when hit curbs in the rain. I would not trust a 50 years old glue when my life is riding on it. give Craig a call 760-290-3031 @ Paradise
