Appeals / Re: Old Saac Shirts
« on: May 02, 2019, 11:45:00 AM »
Is my memory correct that SAAC 5 Dearborn was the first official shirt? I know I didn't get one at SAAC1 Oakland.
Wally Wysse produced a SAAC 3 T-shirt to promote his book. SAAC IV had a shirt, I don't remember who made them.

Would love to go back to Detroit, can you at least fix I-75 south? Last time I went to Detroit (last years Woodward Dream Cruise) I destroyed the suspension and cargo shell,on the truck
I think I saw a pothole swallow a Ford Focus
Here you go: After Thursday's morning rush hour and weather permitting, crews will begin preparations for a traffic shift on the southbound lanes of I-75 from Adams Road south to 13 Mile, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. By Friday morning, all southbound lanes will be closed, with traffic using the right shoulder as a travel lane.

it's just you, the rest of us are all registered and keeping you in the dark. ;D

Somebody was asking, "Why would he want to go to SAAC44 when he should come back to Dearborn?"
But, I didn't get the name.

I was wondering on these dual serial numbered cars witch number would have been it's official titled with VIN? Anyone care to share?

VIN on passenger side dash is the official one.

1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: fog light covers
« on: February 11, 2019, 10:43:33 PM »
Bought new lens in early '70's. Paid outrageous $35, so I bought the covers at the same time. Other than checking to see if they still work, I don't think I have ever turned them on again. :D

If you're like me and have had a particular Shelby for a long time, you know all the idiosyncrasies of that particular car. Maybe you have seen, driven, ridden, or just lusted after an other car. But you haven't actually lived with that car. It's the question of the devil you know vs. the one you don't. (replace devil with woman, if you don't believe in devils)

What I would like is to have the resources to keep my KR convertible in excellent condition AND be able to drive it everywhere without any concerns.

"Don't let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment Baby Moons were Hot!"

Like other '68s, 4201 came with hubcaps, one was damaged. Between then and the ten spokes, this was the solution. :)
