Up For Auction / Re: 6S165 - RM - Monterey 2021

Characteristics of the 252 carryover Shelby GT350s : Fifteen inch wheels; either painted 15×6 steel wheels or the optional Cragar/Shelby 5-spoke wheels – not 14" Magnum 500 wheels or optional 10-spoke wheels as on the later 1966 cars. The lowest known car with 14" wheels is 6S275. Not sure why it comes with "a complete set of the correct 14-inch ten-spoke wheels wrapped in Goodyear "small letter" polyglas tires are included."

Is there news or hypotheticals yet on the 2021 National?

I joined SAAC earlier this year after many years in the Corvette world. We took our cars to all levels of Regional and National judging and even had one displayed in The National Corvette Museum for a year. We are hooked on Shelby Mustangs and have just become the proud owners of Carryover 6S248. Am I too late to bring it to French Lick for judging? If that's possible, what's the procedure with SAAC? Appreciate any help. Thanks, Dan

We had our meeting saturday with the lady who host all the automotive events at French Lick Resorts and the contract was signed so this show is a GO and we have some big sponsors lined up. We still have some details to work out and pre-registrations and discount hotel rooms info will be coming by end of june. We will have the Friday cruise and touring stop at 2 car collections and a meet and greet Friday evening then Saturday indoor concours judging on lifts and feature cars and 50th anniversary cars will be in the pavillion and popular vote car show cars will be next door in a covered parking area so rain wont be a problem and plenty of room as they have hosted a 400 corvette event here before  and then the evening banquet and then sunday many activities for the whole family in the area. We will determine the judging classes after we get some imput on how many and which cars are coming that want judged.  The IN SAAC spring fling judging and the Tulsa Mid America Ford  event judgings were both cancelled this year so we are both teaming up for this one event and using the mid America Ford judging sheets and rules to make it official. We are hosting the 50th 1970 Shelby and Boss cars but all shelbys and boss mustangs and other performance cars are welcome. We are trying to get an idea on how many people are coming so we know about how many rooms to reserve for our group discount rate since this resort sells out at this time of the year when the fall color season begins and other activities in the area going on. So post here if u are coming and if bringing a car what car u are bringing and if u are interested in the judging or popular vote?

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / 6S1698

I'm looking at the "For Sale" description of this car and I'm looking in my 1987 Shelby Registry. How do you verify this info? "This Car's History may have been used in the movie "The American Gangsters". Being it's the Only One listed in The Shelby Register that was used as an Undercover Drug and Police Undercover Car. Recorded history states this Car was taken from a New York owner when caught for transporting drugs in the sixties, and possession was taken. This car comes with all records and history as provided from the record keepers for the Shelby Register."   Thanks!

I'm new to SAAC and Shelby Mustangs in general. Been a C2 Corvette guy for years. I'm going to be looking for a 1968 GT500KR. Appreciate any help and look forward to learning from everyone.
