302 mex block, appears to have 351 heads on it. I don't know history but came out of running driving car and it sounds super healthy. Cobra covers and oil pan are repos, hipo balancer is C8. Has new Holley looks like about 650 and headers. The S2 intake on motor does not come with motor but I will include repo s2 intake  $3000 not interested in shipping     located in Mass

RUG AV reads as 1970 Mustang wide ratio 28 spline 302/351. Comes with Hurst shifter. Came out of running driving car
Obviously pickup is better but will ship on your dime $1000

67 regulators have the longer shaft for the handles.
Yes I understand that. Hard to tell length looking at ebay pictures.  It seems like you can tell visually by the 68 spline goes all the way to the end and 67 has added extra (maybe 1/4-3/8") after the spline

Is there a scheduled date for when the car will debut on BAT?  Any pics you'd be willing to share to entice and tease us before the auction?
I have submitted it but still waiting for date when it will go live. Were just getting it cleaned and detailed now, will post pics soon

The car will definitely be bid up by someone who knows what the car really is and knows what it takes to make a car of this caliber i.e. reproduction parts vs. nos parts, tasteful mods vs. assembly-line correct.  All it takes is 2 bidders that really want it!!   
As most of you know I have seen and restored a lot of Shelbys. I bought this one because it was the best car I had ever come across. All born with drive train, sheet metal, fiberglass, tags, hardware etc. Never had a spot of rust on it. It is a no excuses car

Oh boy... I cant wait for all the armchair experts to set the car's owner straight on the intricacies of 1968 Shelby Mustangs in the comment section. I'll make sure to have my popcorn ready to watch the schooling  ;D

No not intentionally mismatched but the process was intentional. Single stage metallic fiberglass sprayed 4 weeks after body. Mike Shally said most accurate paint job Ive ever seen. I cant believe you had the balls to do it

Thanks Pete, I'm too stupid to post pictures. This is an assembly line BB clutch box dated june 68. Notice zinc plating, phosphate rivets and bare steel in clutch contact area
