Up For Auction / I have some Cool EBay parts currently listed
« on: September 09, 2018, 06:36:01 PM »
I have some interesting items available for sale on EBay.  Feel free to inquire about any items listed through SAAC Forum PM or email.  Ebay  prices are a bit inflated due to Ebay’s rather high selling fees.

CSX 3000 Series / Bill Cosby Cobra

Is there any chance this is a real photo of Mr Cosby’s Supernake Cobra.  Found it on the internet looking for something else.  Does it look photoshopped?

I found this old photo on the internet.  Not sure which car it is. Looks black to me.

Not every owner wants a concourse restoration.  Not every car deserves a concours restoration.

Maybe its just me but I think this is a great car for someone looking to get into a '67  500 at the low end  and its a good color and 4 spd car .  If your in business and thinking of restoring and selling then maybe not the car.  But If it's your hobby then who cares what it cost. IT'S A HOBBY, right? especially if you are mechanically inclined and motivated.
I mean if you go hunting you do not keep track of how much each gun costs and hunting licence and all your ammo you shoot . Targets and range time and hunting trips.  Golf do you keep track of all the golf trips or course fees, lost balls, broken tees, think NOT.  Do we dare talk about fishing!! That List  is endless.

The point  is you do not expect to make money in any other hobby so why think that way for this hobby you will find more enjoyment in the car hobby if you do not put a dollar amount on everything that you do or do not do to the car of your dreams.

Not every car needs to be restored to concours standards there is nothing wrong with a great restoration and driving it .

Now to get back to burning the rest of my NIKE sneakers!!! ;) ;D :P

Up for sale a very nice used Holley 3259-1 Lemans bowl carb.  Dated first week of May 1967.  Well running carb that would not need a full rebuild unless you wanted to go that way.  Rumor has it, was fitted to 1965 #003 when outfitted in R model configuration just before conversion to it's current and correct street configuration.

Pictures can be sent to interested parties. PM or email me through forum system. I don't check the site regularly during normal work hours.

Offered at $950 plus $40 shipping or any reasonable offers.

Interesting 65-67 Shelby parts and 289 hipo parts always considered as full or partial trade.

Other interesting parts will be listed shortly.

thanks

Cory,

I should have known you would know.  No cancel pins.  Was fitted to a 66 GT 350H at one time, so not some multi application wheel from eBay. Spokes go straight into side of wood with no plastic tabs.  Epoxy ring on back.  Later style conical style stainless complete horn button assembly.

Thanks

I was given a nice used over the counter later 1968-up real Shelby wood steering wheel.  I realize it is not as desirable as a true 66 wood wheel or a 67, but am told it has less dish and is a more comfortable wheel for a driver.

What is a general price range for one of these?

Thanks
Jon
