Not to mention the lack of red oxide underside.  Stripes can be fixed rather easily, but this is a big ticket item to change IMHO.

I would guess an entire disassembly and repaint is needed to fix that?

Pictures to see where the connections were made.

Seems a lot of the Thermactor cars had the filter canister kind of free-hanging, only supported by the hoses rather than being supported by a clamp that is screwed to the shock tower, no?

In that last picture, it looks like the third elbow boss was either not drilled out or has a freeze plug pressed in.

Well done, but truth is we really don't have to worry about our kids stealing our classics and going for a joy ride, none of them can drive manual transmissions, and most don't have licenses anyway!

And most aren't interested.

480 HP would have been a crazy number in 1969 and probably nearly impossible to insure. Now its just a fraction of whats available.
