Tks
My car is built jannuary 30 1969. Does it mean that it should have more an A or B suffix ?
I know my trans is not the original one from the car as it was 4 speed when I bought it 28 years ago.

Jeff. This hole is located at correct and original location for the gas sender wire.  The yellow and white stripe one. But funny to see it rough like that. The way I can explain it is assembly line ran out of the side hole trunk floor and they installed standard floor without this hole and handmade it fastly.

Air cleaner base for GT 500 Shelby 1969. May 68 too but not sure. Same for ram air mustang also. Correct buttom, height and diameter
You need to take the baffle off as second pic and add elbow for air breather. No dent. Just surface rust.
300.00 $+ the ride. I am in Canada.

During a R-134 retrofit we used to replaced black rubber o-ring by green silicone o-ring which they are compatible with.
Keep in mind R-134 molecule is smaller than R-12 and leak easier.

Open the bleeder to check if there is presure when brakes are tight. If so, check the master cylinder rod adjustement to be sure the orifice is free to allow backflow into  your master cylinder. If no pressure when open bleeder, you may have calipers issues.
