might be from a 68.  There are two circles that appear to maybe be a date code.  one says 67 in the middle, the other 68.
Way nicer than the crap I see on epay.  Bought this in a pile of stuff at a local swap meet so likely off a rust free AZ car.

$40 with shipping.

Parts For Sale / Lemans Valve Covers - FROM THE 70s?
August 25, 2019, 02:45:02 PM
Bought these at a swap meet in Phoenix.  Have been sitting in my garage for about a year.  They have Shelby numbers on them.
$350 with shipping. Would look great in a cobra kit car or on your S code mustang.  We all know these aren't right for a GT500.

Thanks JD

This has never been restored.  I would recommend restoration prior to use.  I installed a NOS one instead.
$350 with shipping.

This is a NOS power steering cooler that does not have the box.
$150 with shipping.

$500 for the pair with shipping.  Did install a carb kit in them last year.  Run great.

Parts For Sale / 1967 GT500 BJ BK CARBS SOLD

Ran these when my carbs were being sent off for restoration.  No date codes on them so I am assuming they are reproduction.

So I need to cut the top notches off the grommet?  Definitely had two sets of notches.
#25
Bob,
So are the notched ones correct?  The valve covers don't have notches like the repro ones.
#26
I think I might have the wrong grommet.  My grommet has notches but the valve cover on the right side of my car does not have the notches.  Could that cause the grommet to blow out?

sounds like Drew does a great job.
I used Allstate Carburetor because that is who the Holley Carb Shop told me to use.
George at Allstate did a great job as well.  My shop told me they looked new and other than idle they were ready to run out of the box!  Everything to factory specs for BJ/BK with the jetting based on my elevation.

Anyone ever blow out a PCV valve grommet?   Possibly mine was old and rotten, not quite sure.

Anyone have a part number for the correct one?
