Appeals / 1966 shelby spare
October 15, 2022, 06:23:39 PM
Hi all,
so my 66 gt350 came with painted magnum 500 wheels, just wondered
when new did the spare tire have a matching wheel ? or was it just a steel wheel?
Thanks much

Appeals / ranger 10x2.5 brakes
August 27, 2022, 09:38:33 AM
Some people are using the Ford Ranger 10x2.5 drums, shoes and wheel cylinders
because they could not find the mustang ones .  When doing so is the standard
E brake set up and brake hardware from the 66 Shelby still the same?
Thanks much.

This car in the future will turn up some day as the real thing,
the real thing is gone forever. The tag should be removed and sent to the 68 registrars
for safe keeping and the car titled as 68 mustang using the title from that car if there is one,
or have a state issued new VIN assigned to it.  Build your clone and represent it as such and enjoy.
As far as value its whatever the buyer wants to pay.

Wanted to Buy / 1966 Shelby wanted
June 30, 2022, 09:24:36 AM
hi all,
I am considering purchasing a 66 GT350 .  Looking for a very nice clean solid driver or
local show type car , no trailered type cars please.  Must have untampered VIN's and original Shelby tag.
original engine. Privately owned cars preferred. Logistically it would be nice if you are western U.S.
My budget is open to discuss when I learn about your car. I have owned and restored a few Shelbys and Mustangs
so will know a nice car when I see one. I am asking for a few things but it never hurts to ask. I am really
in the thinking about it stage, if you are thinking about selling I would be happy to discuss.
Please send me a PM if interested.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the info.  on the breakdown, and your help as always.

Hi All ,
would anyone have an estimate of the percentage for 1967 GT-350 4 speeds produced
v/s automatics?  I am guessing more automatics.  Please don't make me count them all in the registry.

Hopefully the 67 registrar will chime in as I believe he has the
facts about why some of the 67 350's were not vin  stamped.

Just hit 500 miles on my rebuilt hipo so I decided nothing catastrophic was probably going
to happen and it was probably time to adjust the valves , a pain to do it hot but
I guess that's the most accurate

September 03, 2021, 12:23:35 PM
Hi All,
Just wondering what color was the inside of the hood when new? mine is black
but I have seen others body color . Was it an early v/s late production thing? my car
is late in the 67 production run.
Thanks
