I was about to chime in but Pete beat me to it. 

Do we have an ETA for the release of the SAAC '67 Shelby Registry?  I'm hoping before Christmas.

Yes thanks Pete for everything you do.  Huge fan of your website (and of all things 1968.  Shelby, Mustang and Cougar included).

I'm an admirer of that car as well!   

I just found and read some of his posts on a Wordpress site.  He sounds like a real piece of work. Sorry you had to endure that for so many years Ned (and others). Thank you SAAC for all you do for our hobby.

Thanks for posting the photos, looks like a great time.  I'd like to make this meet one of these years.  Unfortunately in my line of work (healthcare), I'm still sequestered in the New England states. 

I've always had great luck with Jeg's and have ordered parts from them for years.  I cannot however speak to the balancer question specifically.  Best of luck with the build.

I have exactly what you're looking for. The unit is presently installed in my ' 68 GT Mustang coupe. I don't have it "hooked up" because I don't have an antenna installed on my car at the moment.  When I bought this car from my cousin, the radio had been run through the Maryland State Police radio shop and verified as operational.  I would just need another visually nice unit to replace it with. I don't plan on ever making the radio operational in my car. I always drive with the windows down and the exhaust is loud anyway and my GF talks enough that I don't need another distraction. Lol.  The wiring is uncut and I believe I have the knobs somewhere in my stash. 

Is this the elusive '67 Boss engineering mule?   

It amazes me that, with everything that is now known about these cars, that some still can't manage to get it right.

+1.  People dig these cars when they show up at shows or cruise nights.  Appreciate it for what it is. 

It's not so much that the color is wrong, interior is modified, engine is modified, has extra badging etc.  It's the absence of wheel covers that really bothers me.
