Yes it is in The Registry. All that you mentioned is what is in there. Check paperwork and windshield v.i.n. best of luck and keep us up to date.

i had that same problem with my 69 gt350 and found it was the throttle cable. i disconnected it from the carb and sprayed wd40 both when cable was extended and close. if figured to was rust or dirt,  be careful the plastic part of the cover shield over the cable is brittle and if you bend to much up and down, it might break.  keep us posted.

Not until after the 2014 did we SAAC and I get any photos of Gold 1969 GT500 with gold door panels with power windows and Cougar gold seats supplied by SAAC member Bill to verify it did not have a Cougar dash as reported in previous Registry. I do believe the car was delivered to first owner in that Gold configuration ! Mongo.

9F02R480279. GT500. E70x15 tires. Straight Bill of Lading dated 1/14/69 from E & L Transport Co 7 Shelbys picked up at Wixom, MI rail ramp to deliver to A.O. Smith. Shelby Automotive Co. car shipped and invoiced to Shelby Marketing Home Office Reserve 1/30/69. MSRP $5355.60/ dealer cost $4493.37. Ordered by the original owner Russell DeYoung (Akron, OH). The car was painted Gold with gold XR-7 interior with gold and black insert bucket seats & power windows were installed. Purchased by the original owner Russell DeYoung (the Chairman of the Board of Goodyear Tire).

The "only" thing i have noticed about close & wide ratio trans installs are they will all have the same DSO. Also i thing there is a note that could be added to a "pre-production order sheet".  Not a sure thing that if you asked for it, if it would happen!

Just so happens that "both" close & wide ratio transmissions were available on gt350's with or without a/c. I have yet to find an answer. The LMC conv is an original wide ratio trans car without a/c and 3.25 rear. My driver 69 350 conv is an original 4-speed close ration with a/c and 3.00 rear.
