Wanted to Buy / WTB: NOS C7ZZ-6038-E Motor mount
January 11, 2024, 06:21:07 PM
Looking for 1 or 2 new old stock C7ZZ-6038-E motor mounts for a 67 GT-350. Thanks

I had all four control arms restored by a reputable business in the Mustang/Shelby community using reproduction boots. All four boots disintegrated without the car ever moving. I heard the story of the ring diameter clearances, but I believe the composition of the rubber could also be a factor. I would use NOS boots if at all possible.

Could A.O. Smith have had a facility in Shelby Township Michigan at some point in time?

Thanks for the lead Bob. Chockostang is out currently. Part is for a restoration of an early car. I have a
Ford service replacement if need be. Just figured I'd see if anyone had one laying around.
