Ask a Registrar / Re: Vehicle Title

The flip side to this is all the times I see people abusing the "Antique" status of their vehicles where I live.

How so?

here in Texas, the massive issue is the Temporary Tags.

The benefits of having a car or truck registered and tagged as an antique in Virginia are numerous, but there are restrictions on how they can be used.

I see people abusing those restrictions fairly often.

^^^ nice one Mike! One I've not seen before.

Yep, Dan and his BME Cougar shod with the Magstars, as all the Cougars (three of them) were at Sebring.

I ended up going with Heacock also.

I started by getting quotes and comparing policies of all the well known classic automobile insurers, including those mentioned above, and then reading other threads on the topic.

Ultimately, how they performed when customers had claims should be the main deciding factor.

Allow me to add some visual interest -

I've always loved this logo.

In regards the wonderful color pic of the #98 Cobra race car - what I nice shot of how the pre 1968 Castrol logo looked. Red Castrol with green text below it (lubricants or motor oil).

The incorrect repos that proliferate stand out like a soar thumb to me.

Yes, another great resource and fun to click thru - high quantity but low quality.

Speaking strictly to the Mercury Cougar related, lots of previously published photos (some even appear to be mine), press kit pics and poor quality screen captures from the "Cougar Caper" documentary.
