Can anyone recommend a one piece fuel line for the 67 GT500 that actually fits without making a bunch of changes to it?  Purchased one from NPD and although it says it's for the GT500, it's quite different than the one I have on it now.  Also, any easy way to thread one of these in place??

Thanks.

We took #906 (1967 GT500) out Saturday the 10th with a few friends with various make cars on a drive from Mount Vernon, WA. to Winthrop, WA., across the North Cross Highway for a beautiful drive.  About 275 miles roundtrip.  One of the most beautiful drives you'll encounter.  Mountain passes about 5700 feet in elevation, light traffic, 3 large dams on the Skagit River that produce power for the City of Seattle and plenty of pull-outs to take in the views.  Oh, cold beer at each end of the drive also!

@nwfire Love your car, love parchment gut. Show us more.

Don't have any interior pictures.  Just placed correct heads, exhaust manifolds and complete new exhaust system on this past winter.  Correct intake and 2 x 4 carbs but not BJ, BK's.

@nwfire which part of Washington are you in?

Nice GT500!

I'm in Mount Vernon, north of Seattle.

Here's #906.  In the family since 1977.  My brother bought it and passed it along to my son and I when he passed away in 1996.  I've been told one of 9 with white paint and parchment interior.  She's going in for new paint this fall.

Thanks Bob & Jeff.  So is the tube that goes from the exhaust to the carb just a press in fit at the exhaust end??  My tube won't fit the hole in the top of the exhaust manifold but there appears to be a metal insert or tube that's been cut off in the hole itself.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / GT500 carb heater tube

Putting the dual quads back on my GT500.  Where does the carb heater tube go on the passengers side of the engine and is this a two piece heater tube connected together by a flex/vaccum type hose?  Anyone have pictures where it is affixed on the engine/exhaust on the passenger side??
Thanks.

OK, thanks.  I've got one on order from Cobra Automotive.  Salesman sent a couple of pictures of one on a car there and it appears to be the correct one.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / intake manifold oil filler cap
« on: March 13, 2020, 03:14:38 PM »
Anyone know of a vendor where I can purchase a correct oil filler/breather cap for my 1967 GT500?  This is the tube at the front of the intake manifold on the passenger side.  Need the push in style of cap, not the twist style.

Thanks for the help.
