So, there's a '68 500 in NJ for sale on F-Book-looks like 626.  It has what appears to be a buck tag on the fender apron-would that be correct?  Anyway, check this thing out.

What would the correct carb. be for a '69 350 auto.  Thx.

For '67, could a buyer order a Magstar as the spare-as a factory option that is.   

Did the '69 spare have a plain jane rim or a five spoke and what would the tire have been.  I'm assuming it came with the air cannister.  Thx.

Just throwing it out there as I follow but don't see many '69-'70's for sale in the market-something that's been going on for a bit now.  I understand that there's a % of private sales that we're just not privy to-but, the cars for sale seem to be scarce or maybe just too expensive...  Are they following the same value track as the '67's and to some extent, the '68's which again, to some extent, have been gobbled up for expensive trailer queen restorations. 

Looking for some parts for a '71 Torino 500-or just a reliable source.  Lower quarter patch (driver side), trunk drops, brake conversion kit and front seat cover.  Thx.

Pick any year (65-70)-car gets whacked and is deemed a total loss.  Owner buys it back from the ins. co. and proceeds to remove some of the distinctive Shelby stuff (drivetrain, fender aprons. tag, some interior pieces etc.).  He then wraps that stuff with correct date coded sheetmetal/f-glass.  Is it a Shelby, a rebodied car or something else.  What if he could only salvage the fender stampings and tag.  Where's the tipping point.  I ask knowing full well that even the cleanest, most correct survivor still has had a few of the factory parts removed/replaced as a result of either age, wear and tear etc.   

Just came across my desk: one owner '78 Corvette pace car (verified by the "9" in vin) w/ 60k miles.  Original owner who bought it 3 miles from his home.  Orig. paint, panels, interior etc.  Zero rust.  Several original dealer docs.  Always garaged and serviced up the ying yang-I've seen the service records.  Trying to verify the engine (L48) as original before I pull the trigger.  Can someone tell me whether there are casting #'s on the block similar to the Shelby's and if so, where the hell they are located.  Or, point me in the right direction.  Thx.

So, I have several years (most years complete going back to '90) of Hemmings, some Snakebite Bulletin (folding paper version) and some glossy Shelby American in storage that I need to deal with.  Also have several related publications (Mustang Monthly, Hot Rodding, Mustang Times etc.) but not quite as complete.  I have each publication w/ month listed on my lap top which I'm happy to email to anyone who may be interested.  I have to list a price so that this gets posted-so let's say $2.00/per and we'll take it from there.

So, I've looked at a ton of cars over the years but this one...  Documented one owner '71 Mach 1 w/ tons of paperwork, 7k legit miles and 90% original paint.  Special order grabber paint, comp. suspension, non-funct. nasa hood and a few other goodies but nothing super special.  Seats still had the factory plastic on them and the seller still has the 4 factory bias ply tires.  Thing is clean as a whistle and not a spot of rust.  Not really a Mach 1 guy (after '70 that is) but how do you pass on this one.  Is it a 40k car now given the history and condition or will it take a bunch of years to get there.  Where are the after '70 Mach 1's headed.  I've never purchased on emotion but Christ when will another one like this come up...

Looking to purchase either an orig. driver quality or small project 350-4spd.  Must be matching #.
