The Lounge / Safe Distancing? Masks? A Joke to Politics/Sports?
« on: October 12, 2020, 06:36:54 PM »
I have to get something off my chest. We all know that the pandemic is getting worse, figures don't lie. Our Law Makers (a name I never liked), and politicians PREACH safe distancing, wear your masks, etc,etc.....

But watch politicians on TV, I'm sure you've all seen the news clip from all the politicians NOT wearing their mask and definitely not safe distancing.....

Now, what really gets me is Sports. I have seen oh, I'd say 99% of football, baseball, basketball players as they're playing their sport, NOT WEARING ANY MASK OR FACE COVERING AT ALL!! Seen the side lines a minute ago on sports news?? Coaches wearing a mask, LOL, but nobody else?!!

I don't understand this country at all. I have a BAD feeling about our future and the Pandemic we ALL face..... Yes, ALL OF US!!!

Other's Thoughts?

The Lounge / '67 Eleanor Wood Carved/Hand made
« on: September 06, 2020, 07:30:53 PM »
I can already hear the negative remarks because of it being an "Eleanor".

But try to look beyond that and see the true artwork here made completely out of wood.

I have '67 Mustang Deluxe Steering wheel parts. All are original and I know the parts do have pitting. The plastic screw inserts are all here.  The 3 Gold cad plated screws with springs and the other 3 screws are included. Horn ring is C5ZA-13A800-D, other horn ring numbers are 31350-H and 11911.
The VERY fragile plastic ring has been broken, but will still work in the ring when installed.
Everything in photos are included.
$150 plus the ride.  PM if interested.

The Lounge / Did You Know??
« on: August 08, 2020, 09:56:18 AM »
That Dodge made a 1986 Dodge Shelby Rampage compact truck? Read this article I received from Hagerty, read near the end of this article, only 218 were made:

Beginning in 1982, Chrysler Corporation fielded a Dodge Rampage pickup based on its front-wheel-drive L-body platform, which also underpinned the Dodge Omni/024/Charger and Plymouth Horizon/ TC3. The Rampage represented the first front-wheel-drive pickup offered by an American automaker.
Built using a longer wheelbase than its four-door relatives, the Rampage could haul up to 1000 pounds. Power came from Chrysler’s 84-hp, 2.2-liter four-banger and was channeled through a four-speed manual; a three-speed automatic or five-speed manual were optional. The Rampage survived until 1984 only to be resurrected in 1986 when Dodge rolled out the California Shelby Rampage. The reincarnated, hotted-up trucklet boasted a 99-hp version of the 2.2-liter motor that sent power through a four-speed manual and rumbled through performance exhaust. Just 218 were made.

The Lounge / TV Show excerpt of 1955 La Mans Tragedy
« on: July 19, 2020, 05:39:32 AM »
I was looking under my Roku Channel and came across a series called “Disasters of the Century” and under the Episode 6 “Human Error” the second half of the 46 minute program is about a 25 minute program of the 1955 La Mans tragedy with rare footage and commentary from folks that survived.

Thought this would be of interest to some of you guys that like documentaries😊

**Footnote*** The first half is very interesting as well😊

Can anyone tell me where KK put the manual choke cable hole in the firewall of the 69 Boss 429?  Maybe a photo or let me know the general location verbally.

Thanks for any information,

The Lounge / Look Closely 👀
« on: June 17, 2020, 10:42:31 PM »
Seen this on FB. Look closely at the town and state. Then look closely at the tag on the front of the Shelby.

I guarantee you he’s reading on the SAAC forum. And he knows that all here know his shenanigans and are passing the word along. It may be slow but the word is getting out there.

I'm swapping over my old electrical system on my 67 coupe 289 to electronic ignition. And I bought an original 1984 Ford voltage regulator unused on eBay. I'm not an electronics whiz by no means, But How can I bench test it to see if its good?
Thanks for any info.

The Lounge / Best SB plug wire
« on: June 05, 2020, 02:18:01 PM »
What company makes the best Aftermarket plug wire for a stock 289. Preferably black in color.  I’ve been using the marti plug wires for 2 restos and want to get away from those. And I’m looking for a great aftermarket brand.

Any help is greatly appreciated👍🏻
