« on: June 03, 2019, 05:59:58 PM »
Was the C6ZE A2 radiator used in the 350’s?

And would the date be somewhere around 11 65?

Appeals / 69/70 stuff on CL
« on: April 13, 2019, 05:16:28 PM »
Was wondering why this is still for sale after 2 months?  I'm sure the owner would be willing to negotiate on price.  Or, are these items more common than others from 67-68?

BTW, not mine.....

« on: March 15, 2019, 09:07:46 PM »
Seen this ‘66 C&D Yearbook at an old antique shop in a pile of books/mags. Took a few snapshots of some interesting stuff. On the previous page shows where you can see, drive and buy the GT350 and Cobra (circled in red).
Thought I’d share it.

SAAC Forum Discussion Area / Mustang watch VIN??
« on: March 09, 2019, 08:11:27 AM »
Said the watch is actually made from a 1966 Mustang with VIN??

I've never seen a 66 Mustang VIN like in this ebay listing ::)

Possibly 6F07C185502 ??

Now this one seems legit on the VIN: Metuchen built "A" engine code....

The Lounge / Our 69 Mach 1 turned 50 today
« on: February 24, 2019, 11:26:03 PM »
The wife and myself took ol' Priceless out today on his 50th anniversary and drove about 25 miles.  It was 50 years ago today that our Mach 1 was assembled and rolled off the assemblyline.

As we drove ol' Priceless, we talked about who may have been the person who drove it off the assemblyline, wondered what his name was. And that this same engine we drove today was the same exact engine that he turned the key and the Mach came to life probably getting ready for rail transport from NJ to Mooresville NC.

We also talked about that same man sat in this same exact seat I was sitting in when he drove it off the line.  After all, it does retain all the original interior, as is the original complete drivetrain, albeit the motor was rebuilt some years back.

Just has a darn good day thinking about when our Mach 1 was drove off the assemblyline a 1/2 century ago today.

SAAC Forum Discussion Area / Shelby fiberglass hood springs

Are they smaller in diameter, smaller in length, not as many coils?  I know the tensil strength is not as much as metal hoods.

The Lounge / Show us your “Mans Best Friend” photo
« on: September 30, 2018, 08:26:37 PM »
I’ve noticed here over the past few years members honoring their dog(s) and sharing their stories when they have passed. And most on here are not ashamed to say that they shed tears, which is a normal thing to do when we’ve lost a “member” of the Family.

Please show us your “Best Friends” present AND past ;)

The top photo is my Husky/Akita mix who lived to be 14 yrs old. He was my Pal and my Best Friend.  I had to have him laid down Sept 2017 due to kidney failure :'( His name was Kobi.

The bottom photo is my loving German Shepherd who has brought me so much friendship and Love since my Kobi was laid down. It took a while but I finally made the move to get me another faithful companion. His name is Max :D

I am reminded that we are here as caretakers, just like our cars, for our furry friends. And now I am appointed the caretaker of Max :)
