Concours Talk / Re: 69 shifter handle

This is an open concours forum, not a critique of your for sale part and YOU ASKED !

You can try to sell a $30 knob for $500 all day, no one cares. You only embarrassed yourself. People might be interested in what's correct in the concours section.

If you don't like the reality feedback, post in the lounge with your friends. Why didn't you attack Bob Gaines when he said the same thing? See reply 5

Regarding restoration, sure you can do it. Tell me how many cores you want at $500 each and I will send you a box full.

This is what a knob with the grain completely worn off looks like. It really has very little value

I guess you can choose the flashy display or actually getting your car correct.

Obviously this owner selected the former

SAAC Forum Discussion Area / Re: SAAC Convention 2022

Have you ever known the people that run SAAC to be responsive to the members?

Whether it's forum reform, national conventions or anything else.

They are just riding this out as long as they can.

Personally I know a lot of people that are not sending SAAC dues for these very reasons.

The sad thing is there will be no recovery after they have run the ship into the ground

They are not factory rocker stripes.

Here is the original Shelby blueprint. There was not another variation for the KR.

Its a press fitting, so you may need to replace some parts or try a light epoxy

Yet another example of shrinking violets.

There are more than a few here that are quick to criticize and accuse people. Unfortunately it always seems to be those who are armed with little or no real contributions. It seems to have spread to other areas where they can play their reindeer games.

Its too bad, the forum could be so much more and actually help people and promote the club and events. But instead there is this constant whining noise.

"Where's my registry? why don't you hide your vin numbers? Oh, you have a decal on your fan shroud!"
