So excited, look what came in the mail today!! Going to send my housing off to get painted now!! What color black should I look for to paint the housing? It's currently powder coated but going to be stripped.
Now I Just need to find correct backing plates and drums!

That does not look like a "Back in the day" picture. There are items in it that look too new.
Not sure how your post is intended to help here.

Here is what I have..it is a stamped steel piece I believe. The rubber seal was really thin.

Thanks Jimmy, that's my drawing, saved me from having to look for it!
lol, what are friends for. Now let's see who can fab these. Not an easy part to find when you need it.

6S1575 with an estimated mid to later March '66 San Jose production date has neither the firewall bracket or hole drilled in the Z bar for an upper clutch spring.
that's interesting 6s1902 estimated 3rd week of march has all the provisions for it and of course the parts.

The bent tangs. On opposite sides.

Am I allowed to post the specs here? Or should I just email you? For the life of me I dont know how to attach pics to PMs but I know how to drive our shelby the way it was meant to be driven!

Hi again Cory, during our restoration hi and low I could not find anyone who was reproducing this part. This is a quote from my dear good friend.
"They are shown as being effective from 2/14/66 to the end of the 66 model year for all manual transmissions. No other information is given. My sources are the 60-68 Ford Car Parts, and the 75 edition of Ford Car Parts."
I have some engineering specs on it if you need it and plenty of pics. When we restored our car we noticed the body man lost the clip when we tried to connect the spring, by chance we found one off a donor parts car.

Hi Cory,
Are you looking for one?

That's a great Idea! I am sure they will all be excellent referrals as our standards are pretty high.

Well in the big picture it was only 4 people out of hundreds or even thousands of people who did not bid for them. In my opinion 4 people do not define the market price. But that's just my opinion.

I just got back my 65 vent window frames that I sent to Smittys chrome plating. They specialize in Pot Metal. Incredible customer service, I highly recommend them. They came back beautiful!! It was $140 for each one to get done but well worth it. Now to re assemble them. Ask for Kevin, tell him Jimmy sent you.

Your right Phil...totally absurd. And its buyers like that who make other sellers think their parts are worth their weight in gold. Just takes one person who is willing to spend what ever they want to get their prize.

Just have to join. It's a 5F K code block from what I can make out.
