I had a similar problem found out it was my valve covers.  Bought a tall set from Branda the baffle was too small the oil would get sucked straight into the PCV and into intake it would smoke badly on acceleration and when deacceleration.  I used spacers and the original valve covers haven't had a problem since.

Hi,   I've never been to this track and I wanted to know what is the best way to enter the track?  Also I wanted to know when and where we can pickup our credentials/ register?  I will be arriving on Wednesday afternoon or evening will we be able to get them then or do we have to wait until Thursday?

I'm driving my car to SAAC 44 My plan was to leave the morning of July 10th. Just wondering if anyone would like to get a group of cars together or even if your trailering your car and would like to join the group please pm me and we can arrange a place and time to meet.  We did this for the trip to and from Indianapolis for SAAC 42 it worked out really well was a lot of fun

Hi,   I have a question about the hood twist locks my underside plates are missing (the ones that stick on) I have a new set and was wondering how to install them.  Does the slot line up with the one in the top plate?  If anyone has any picture they could post I would greatly appreciate it.

I didn't see anywhere to enter the vehicle that we are bringing. Did I miss it?  It showed a spot for vehicle on my receipt.

I was just wondering what tires and size everyone is running on their cars?  Mine is a driver built Jan 6 1969. Currently it has BF Goodrich 235 60 15's. I'm just wondering if I should go with a smaller tire since it doesn't have the big spindles?
