And dont forget 1000 dollar side mirrors, 1500 windscreens and 2000 dollar headlights

I have been predicting that we will rent a car and not be owninf them soon enough. Maintainance will be included and it will be a fixed contract for x years and then it gets scraped

I dont know who.determines we need all the crap in new cars but I hate it

A friend owns a garage near me in the UK.  Had a range rover towed in.  Push button (Electric) hand brake was jamned. Guy was desperate for the car the next day.  Motor replacement was £1500. Had to cut the cable for the guy to take the car
So £1500 for the motor, plus cables plus install...for a handbrake!

I have a T5z in my 66 350 with 389s

LOVE IT!

I have a T5z in my 67 clone with 3.55s, LOVE IT

I have had about 10 cars brought in for stock with them,  best mod in my opinion along with disks for a great drive

Holey Smokes,  I'm never painting mine

The next guy can :-)

I am very thankful for folks who restore these cars to 11/10ths

It preserves these works of art

I sell old Mustangs

The number one, NUMBER one thing my customers want is "the sound"

I wait until they are practically begging me to start it before I do.

My 07 Shelby sounded like a Honda til I put the KR exhausts on it, how they could sell the car with the stock exhaust note is beyond me

It needs the noise to sell it.

Hello folks

Recently bought a 67 fastback that I believe has four American racing 14 inch magnesium wheels

The back of the hub mounting area is hollow and they are very light

Five spoke TTD style. Black centers with a bare metal lip

Are these worth anything?

Trying to determine if selling the car with them or without them makes sence

Back of rim on bead area says in raised cast letters, Made in USA and 6x14. Also there are oval metal inserts for behind the wheel nuts. They fit in an oval recess
