Here's another unique rear deck lid spoiler....shot after the 1966 Sebring 12-Hours with part of the damaged Comstock Racing GT40 as a souvenir.

You would think the writers of these articles would at least post the correct photo for the event mentioned (Green Valley, Tx.-February 14th, 1965), not a photo of Dick Carters 1965 GT350 at Laguna Seca at least....

The Cobra should be csx3018 at El Mirage just after it's winter break refresh (body and engine) due to an incident at the 1966 Road America races (not sure if incident happened at the June or September event).  El Mirage as mentioned earlier by another poster due to dust instead of Salt Lake crust.

SunDude most likely nailed it on the #60....the same number font is used in period....as in the link to this photo from the 1963 Dodger Stadium races:

"The Henry Ford" collection of the Dave Friedman photo collection is a little bit better than the Vault at the moment....

I think the deal with Stanford University ended several years ago....their part of the deal was scanning in a vast amount of the photo collection and organizing parts of the printed collection also.  Here's the link to Rev's Institue's website:

Definitely not....looks like an extended and modified fiberglass Cobra body with some unique mods.  009's last official race was at Watkins Glen in August of 1971.

1965 GT350/R-Model / Re: 350R Mirrors? I.D.
« on: November 16, 2022, 11:39:10 AM »
Actually "Raydyot" not "Raydot"....the mirrors in the initial inquiry are more like a "Talbot" style mirror.  "Talbot" mirrors have a logo/crest on the main body...but these are some sort of copies of the original concept with longer main bodies.

Up For Auction / Re: 5R213 - Bring A Trailer

Fees...well let's see, there's is usually a sellers fee of around 10% "+ or -" per auction house (depends if you are an active seller/buyer with that specific auction company), extra fees sometimes charged for a "prime time" TV spot or selling date (Friday or Saturday is preferable, but hopefully not next to another car that is similar), hotel and lodging fees, shipping or transport fees, etc. etc.  Just think of fees, fees and more fees.

Are there any drivers or drivers associated with the car?

The football stadium is the old Kesar stadium in SF.

February 13-14, 1965....Green Valley races (Texas)....Bob Bondurant is at the wheel learning the track due to mechanical difficulties on SA's 3002 Cobra (broken camshaft in Saturday's practices).  The Cobra, as Ned mentioned is 2164.
