No problem Rich and Honker....if you are able to get your hands on a program....sometimes there are local ads in the program showing "car so and so" sponsored by a local dealer for the event....as in sometimes this logic rings true, but not all the time....which could possibly lead to the actual garage the photo is from.  Both events (Greenwood and Watkins Glen) seemed to use the same numbers #97, #98 and #99).

#97 is John Morton's Lotus 23....the event is the June 1964 Watkins Glen USRRC races (June 26-28, 1964)....that would account for the Graham Shaw Cobra in the photo.  It could not be the Greenwood USRRC event (July 18-19, 1964), because Graham Shaw was still recovering from an accident the following weekend at Lake Garnett (July 4-5, 1964)....Shaw's Cobra flipped end over end and side to side....he had collapsed lungs, several rib fractures and vertebrae and several other internal injuries.

#94 is 5R096.....#93 is the Comstock Racing team Ford Mustang Fastback (I think it was made from a former Shell 4000 rally car (1964.5 model)?)  The #93 Mustang has a different hood scoop and front valance as the most notable differences:

The wheels that you are trying to identify are Halibrand #7011 magnesium mags now reproduced in aluminum.  They were option wheels for Studebakers.  Here's the link for the company that is currently re-making them:

Here are the FINAL SCCA points results for BP in the Northeastern Division for 1967-1970. (I can't vouch for any other history for lot #1306.1 beyond these years):

1967:
1st in points-Bob Fryar-Sting Ray-40 pts.
2nd in points-F.G. Fisher-Cobra 289-35 pts.
3rd in points-Tom Dutton-Corvette-31 pts.
4th in points-Martin Krinner-Mustang GT 350-28 pts.
5th in points-Donald Blatchley-Sting Ray-26 pts.
6th in points-Jim Sutter-Cobra 289-12 pts.
7th in points-Yale Kneeland-Mustang GT 350-11 pts.

There are a total of 23 participants in 1967 that scored at least 1 point (I'm not going to list the 8th-23rd points scorers....I'll just list all of the point scorers up to and including Yale Kneeland.)   All of the spellings (Cobra 289, Mustang GT 350....etc. are how they are listed in the SCCA Club magazines....all though I know as incorrect otherwise, and not listed as (Shelby GT 350, etc.).

1968:
1st in points-Gene Fisher-Cobra 289-49 pts.
2nd in points-Lou Statser-Corvette-48 pts.
3rd in points-Jim Sypherd-GT 350-30 pts.
4th in points-Tom Dutton-Sting Ray-22 pts.
5th in points-John Orr-Sting Ray-20 pts.
Tied for 6th in points-Ken Duclos-Corvette-15 pts.
Tied for 6th in points-Donald Blatchley-Corvette-15 pts.
8th? in points-Raymond Menapace-GT 350-12 pts.
9th? in points-Yale Kneeland-9th pts.

I'm not sure on how the SCCA places points positions if there is a tie in points....it may be determined by in region scored points vs. out of region or it may be that since both scored the same amount of points on the season as in Ken and Donald that they are credited for both finishing in 6th and the 7th position is left open (so on the 1968 season, Yale either finished 7th overall in points or 8th overall in points?

1969:
1st in points-Dick Stockton-Cobra 289-54 pts.
2nd in points-Fred Brandt-Sting Ray-37 pts.
3rd in points-Alex Cameron-Corvette-35 pts.
4th in points-John Orr-Corvette-27 pts.
5th in points-Donald Blatchley-Sting Ray-20 pts.
6th in points-Yale Kneeland-GT 350-15 pts.

1970:
1st in points-Thomas Rizzo-Corvette-51 pts.
2nd in points-John Orr-Corvette-36 pts.
3rd in points-Dick Stockton-Cobra-19 pts.
4th in points-Michael Nucera-Corvette-19pts. (had points scored out of region)
5th in points-D.M. Blatchley-Corvette-19 pts. (had points scored out of region)
6th in points-Ray Menapace-Shelby GT 350-16 pts.
? in points-Don Haines-Corvette-12 pts.
? in points-Bill Lannik-Corvette-4 pts.
? in points-Dick Powell-4 pts.
? in points-Scotty Dietz-Corvette-3 pts.
? in points-Dan Ferri-Corvette-3 pts.
? in points-Yale Kneeland-Shelby GT 350-3 pts.

The race history on lot #1306.1 is incorrect.
#69
Correct, a late model USRRC car....the only one painted red....owned by Arthur Root and driven by Spence Stoddard.  The first race that I have noted on this Cobra is Spokane, Wash., September 1964.
#70
Spence Stoddard's Cobra (2514) prior to September 1964....one of Dave Friedman's photos.

To Randy....unfortunately I don't have a copy of the SCCA rule book for 1967 but in talking to TA22 (Gary) who referred the question about Falcons to Mike Eddy (ex-Cordts/Dittemore-TA Falcon)...Eddy had mentioned that for SCCA Trans-Am racing and SCCA A-Sedan racing, the front hood, rear deck lid and front fenders were legal (although his car currently has metal front fenders) and that the FIA legal fiberglass doors (homologated for rally racing) were not.  If this was British Touring cars after 1966....then this would all be legal for Group 5 spec built cars in Europe.

You would think that the SCCA tech inspectors would have caught this issue during a tech inspection and noted the lightness of the door and the different sound it made when you shut the door.  The following link notes that the doors had all of the "roll up windows":

In talking with one of the other forum members a while back about SCCA Falcons..the fiberglass hood, rear deck lid and fiberglass front fenders were legal in SCCA A/S (A sedan)...the fiberglass doors are not legal.

I think you are correct on the #6 as Maston Gregory....some of the members in the photo were not around (Popov-military called) after this photo was taken.  I'm not sure, but the woman next to Maston looks to be the same woman (name?) in several photos from the 1964 Le Mans pits with a CS logo team shirt and a wide brimmed, light colored hat.

To Jim:

If you are referring to the Scott Sperka photo on the RSC website, that photo is miss-identified as 2027, but it is 2009....one of the first Cobras out there with a full roll cage.
