Reading through, good topic.

Maybe move the post count to the profile of each forum member? While not quickly accessible, it still can be seen if anybody wants to look. Been a SAAC member since 1990, but not alot of post on this forum.

I do agree to limiting to SAAC members. Makes the moderators have to cross-check each new application.

Create a section for non-members? I would think that if they were limited to a small section, most spammers and nuisances would go away knowing they will be limited.

Just some thoughts.

SAAC-48 / Re: a great gathering

No doubt this was the best convention we have had in many years. We as staff worked very hard to make sure the big public pieces worked smooth, and everyone attending had fun. I was on open track staff, with Howard and Scott, grid was perfect, everybody got on track smoothly and on time. I also helped with the car show, it also was one of our better ones in recent history. All weekend I saw HAPPY attendees, friendships re-set, great cars, the way a convention is supposed to be.

Yes, always a few bumps in the road behind the scenes (Indy was a giant pothole), but the entire SAAC staff made it work.

VIPS were amazing, the most I remember in many years.

Great host hotel.

My kudos to everyone who worked on the convention staff and especially to all the volunteers who killed themselves to make this convention one to remember.

Kim! Happy to have you two! I'll just be a car show worker too, but the show is well organized and ready to go!

See you on the track, I am working grid! My FFR will be there also, on track. Let's dance....
