SAAC-45 / Popular Ballot Car SHow for SAAC-45
« on: December 18, 2019, 07:46:38 AM »
Assembling the team, already starting to plan.

We used a new format last year at Pitt which we felt worked well. We'd like to try it again, small tweaks if needed. Invitation to all who plan on attending to comment. Please see the Popular Ballot Car Show topics in the SAAC-44 section for the specifics. Here's a link to the thread from last year which spells out the votiong, parking, and general details: http://www.saacforum.com/index.php?topic=4533.0

Of course, much to early to talk about where it will be inside the track, etc etc...

Looking forwards to seeing all of you there!

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: Brake Light Testing - Turn Signal Switch
« on: December 07, 2019, 02:31:47 PM »
I was going to say TS switch.

Very common problem on 67-70 Shelby's, as the addition of the extra bulbs does create the extra current draw and opens up the contacts.

Accurate fix.

Nothing surprises me on a Metuchen built car. Everyone there must have been on crack. More mis stamps and non stamps than anywhere.

.  Well as a historical footnote this WAS “pre-crack”... ;D

I grew up near there, probably alot of drunken workers.
