Thx for the pointer 67st102. I've been looking to get this book for some time. It is now a Christmas gift to me from my wife  ::)
The shipping is a bit steep at $15.95, but it's still cheaper than Amazon.

1965 GT350/R-Model / Re: 1965 GT 350 steering wheels

Thx Vern. I appreciate the education.

5R002 is the inspiration for my '65 Mustang build. In my ignorance, I bought the Moto-Lita "Shelby Mustang OEM" 15" wheel.
So now, Anyone wanna buy it? (Just kidding!)

On a related note, the GT350 5R002 appeared to have the slotted steering wheel with an aluminum ring showing around the rim exterior when it was auctioned this summer.

Was that unique to the '002 prototype? It looks like an AC Cobra wheel.

What's a Shelby without The Magnificent Sound of Internal Combustion?

You can make it work. Just record those glorious engine sounds. Then after the conversion, play them back through a huge mobile sound system!

Here's a quick deviation from Shelby's, just because my KTM vanity plate is similar to your thread title.

Heading to the mountains this week to take advantage of beautiful fall weather.

I agree! Another cool video, deathsled. But I'm afraid it, too, may be a trigger.

Where's my safe space?

In the video, he said he has Tri-Y headers, an X-Pipe and an "Auger" muffler.
I had to do some internet research on that one as I'd never heard of an Auger muffler before.

Sounds absolutely amazing!

Jim and Co. found reproduction parts for my tribute that I couldn't find elsewhere. Thoughts and prayers for a quick and complete recovery!
