Yes, buying a Canadian car brings its own problems and headaches. I did it once, but I would never do it again, life is too short and good cars are too plentiful in the US.Maybe you can better detail your "problems and headaches"? I've bought and brought 5 cars across the border and it's pretty easy. There's border paperwork (export and import paperwork) and a 72 hour notification which isn't a big deal and of course you have to arrange transportation which I assume needs to happen for most purchases within the US. In my case I drove 4 cars (68 GT500, 1993 Mustang GT, 07 Shelby GT-H, 06 FGT) across the border and I had to trailer my 13 BOSS 302S across as it's not street legal and a factory track car. That's a pretty big cross section of cars crossing the border and I still have all 5 cars. In my opinion, life is too short to pass up a rare car you may have been searching years or decades for. So let's hear about your problems and headaches and help educate us.
None for sale at the moment. I've got a bit of a problem, just like cars, I like to buy them but I sure don't like selling anything.I think BAT has been in the drain, now I know it is.....where is the pinball machine? Where is the turnstyle? That's funny.......... cause we all know there's a pin and a turnstyle on BAT right now so come one, come all, there's an ass for every seat.

PS, I happen to own 9 pinball machines so I suppose I may very well be that "ass".

I have 6 pinball machines myself!!!! Some EM, some 80's and newer.....Got any for sale?
Thank you.I filled out an application for one of the new Dark Horse R cars. I submitted that I could possibly be "a gentlemen driver" for a team or alternatively purchase a car for personal use at my local track. I would track the car a ton as I now have the time due to recently retiring. I sent my application in directly to Multimatic as directed on the Ford Performance website. https://www.multimaticmotorsports.com/ford-mustang-darkhorse-r/
My application was submitted 2 1/2 months ago and as of today, I have had no response or any indication that my application was received.
It's a bit frustrating but heck, I've still got my 2013 BOSS 302s with a freshly installed 5.2xs Aluminator. That will keep me smiling for years to come if I hear nothing back from Multimatic.

best of luck on your journey

Stay tuned! 😀Dammit! I wanna know NOW!
Pretty much the typical practice for all new cars though the kit;/antenna for most applications came with a template though not all dealers followed them or the new owner wanted them somewhere else if the car was ordered and the buyer waited for the car to arrive verses it sitting on the lot. Allot of people paid for, ordered and waited for their cars. Typically no touch up to do and they didn't care about the bare metal edge of the antenna hole like they would not today if they did something similar on a new car.
There are bits made for cutting larger holes with a smaller internal longer drill bit to use and start a pilot hole. They were available in the 60's There was also the option and instructions in some to drill a starter (smaller hole) then use a saw to cut the larger hole.
Had one 71 that the dealer placed the antenna on the driers side front fender. Guess that is what the original owner wanted
Examples of Ford templates
Just to be clear, for others that may read this, the antenna was mounted where the receiving dealer decided. It was not always on the quarter panel.I'm curious about this. How did the receiving dealer install the antenna on the car? Did they just pick a spot, core a hole in the panel and then touch up the damage after? How would you even core a hole in Ford sheet metal?
You know whats really great 2/4 high sellers were also non matching numbers. Kind of defeats several of the BaT arguments.I am really interested, what made two of the top sales for a 68 (with non matching numbers) command top dollar? Were they engineering cars, the color of the car, a Paxton car or was it something else that helped bring them such success?
