Up For Auction / Re: NOS C5DZ-10884-A misrepresented

also I don't believe a NOS unit would have Teflon tape wrapped around it.

just my 2 cents

SAAC-44 / Re: SAAC 44 was amazing
July 25, 2019, 09:02:18 PM
i agree that the event and facility was great, needless to say the weather on Friday and Saturday was nothing but perfect. some very nice and expensive cars on display throughout the arena..... what amazed me was the commitment people and businesses put into there race cars some of those set ups are big bucks even before the cars.

also like looking at the trailers and rigs these classics arrive in, not something we have here in Australia.

great to meet some old friends and build new friendships with others who I have connected with through this forum.
bring on the 2020 event is all I can say.

Chuck,

817 also has overrides.  And over 100K miles.  It too is a driver and has a 50 year patina to it.  Yes, the hood is all metal.

I met you at Mid Ohio in 2016.  The following 12 Hertz cars were in attendance: SFM6S452, SFM6S555, SFM6S679, SFM6S817, SFM6S818, SFM6S1431, SFM6S1591, SFM6S1654, SFM6S1870, SFM6S1916 , SFM6S1938, SFM6S1963, SFM6S1964.

It was certainly a impressive line up of 66 GT 350-H at that event. took many photos as i dont think i will ever see that many in one place and in one line again.

congrats to the people who co-ordinated that gathering

NICE TOPIC BRIAN.
could be a very very long topic

for me it would be a NOS or excellent original windscreen for a 66 dated between November 65 and January 66
would like to here from someone who has one that suits my needs.  please.....

but if that is to much I will settle for a unrestored sapphire blue 66 350

thanks

March 13, 2019, 10:01:03 PM
TIM.

wish you would have told me a few months ago when we where discussing other parts.  had a perfect original C6ZF-F  with tag.  sold it to a fellow Australian.
let me check around to see if he has buyers remorse or hasn't done anything with it.  you never know

The Lounge / Re: Mustang wins on Debut in OZ

DARRYL
good to see the mustang back and win but......

My opinion only..
think the DJR shell cars look like cartoon characters (lightning Mcqueen from the cars movies) and dont resemble anything that looks like a new mustang. the others are just blar
think Chaz's car is the only example that has any toughness and mustang looks about it.  guess it comes down to paint scheme and sponsors stickers
