1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: Picture of leftover 1969 cars at Shelby

Awesome photos, I hope he will share more of them.

Is the second photo a staged photo of painting the stripes? It doesn't look like the rest of the car or windshield is covered to protect it from over spray, that could be a real mess to clean up.

Also it doesn't look like the area around the turn signal is blacked out....yet....weren't they blacked out to the front edge of the light.

When did 5R001,5R002,and 5R003 actually get the Shelby Vins attached to the cars? What was that time frame of the Shelby Vin being put on the cars, we know the mix up with the numbers put on the cars.

This is an interesting photo of 5R002 from The Green Valley Feb 14th 1965. It shows 5R002 with the drivers door open. Notice the Ford VIN tag still attached.

Ford should have sold these on an abandonment lease deal. That is where you lease something for a set period of time and at the end of the lease ownership transfers. Easy to do they take full fee up front and lease you the car with unlimited miles. The lease reads zero value at the end of 24 months and title then gets sent.

+1

Where is JUDGE JUDY???  She would end this BS real fast and Im pretty sure FORD would be the winner!! A 2019 trial date is ridiculous. :)
