You guys are full of knowledge, so how about this bumperette?  It was included with a batch of Ford NOS stuff I obtained.  thoughts?

My rear appears to be out of a 57 or 58 Ford and has the 2 dimple housing with no drain plug.  But the axle ends have the 2-holed (similar to 31 spline) appearance and I know this is not from the newer Granada, etc.  I will pull the axles for further ID.  Thanks for the measure...

also pretty small font...doubt you will see it, but then again, you never know...

500-800.  Brown is a non-typical color, but could be easily dyed.

Are you looking for the 9" third member (chunk), or the axle housing itself?  I'm guessing the third member...

Yours is crystal clear compared to mine.  A lot of guys say they can't find the number, but sometimes it is just too easy to miss.  My eyes bled after staring at this one...

Are you able to make out more than 3 numbers beyond 8T?  The reason I ask is I have an RUG-S trans and can only make out the first 3....makes me curious if they actually stamped 6?
