Up for auction is an original "7AC" marked Power Steering Pulley For a 1967 Mustang Shelby GT350 289 HIPo and 1967 K code Mustangs with p/s. The diameter is 7". Condition is Used and it does have some pry marks on the backside of pulley that can be massaged out. The pulley is straight and true.

The original pulleys had a brazed/welded in center.  The reproductions are machined as one piece.

Thank you for looking.

I have another question to add to this thread.

Were the 15" x5.5" and 15" x6" steel HiPo wheels used on the '65 Shelby's all riveted (centers riveted to outer rim)?

Thanks,
George

Hi Cory,

The prop valve I have for sale has 11 threads showing and the date code looks to be "14C2".  Hope this helps.

Cory, not to trump on George's ad but that is the mustang one as indicated by the gray painted body. The Shelby ones were black  The good news is all you have to do is paint the body black and change the adjustment and they're identical. The casting numbers are the same
Thanks for the clarification.  This same proportioning valve was used on the early 65-68 Corvettes also.

Supercharger gauges?
Am I missing something in one of the pictures?
I believe Harris is speaking about the auction ad for car #2148.  It describes the car as having the Paxton gauges, but they are not pictured in the ad.

There wasn't a whole lot of real estate to mount the Paxton gauges on a '67 Shelby.

Is that a single stud or dual?
The '67 500 and 350 take a single stud temperature sender.

This car was for up for auction last year at Mecum showing 10-spokes.
Nice to see it with wheel covers now, as it is noted in the 2011 registry having them from the LAX factory.

10-spokes started appearing on some cars around late March 1967.
This car #2148 was completed 5/11/67. So it would have been possible to have them.

The center grille lights (with the later vertical grille have been found on cars built in this time frame.
It was probably not much later they were changed over to outboards. I'm sure others know more on that.

It was typical for the 1967 SA factory built Paxton cars to receive the inboard center lights.  The inboards were used so the air inlet that was cut into the radiator support could easily feed air to the air cleaner canister.  The outboard lights would restrict air to the opening.

I will be traveling from Phoenix, Arizona to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the next few weeks with an empty 24 ft. enclosed car trailer.  If someone needs a car transported somewhere between these 2 points, I am willing to figure out a cost that is acceptable to both of us.  I will be making a round trip, but will have a car in my trailer on my return trip back to Arizona.

Feel free to reach out to me.

The background on the front "COBRA" side of each key chain is definitely different between the two.

Maybe there were different versions?

I'm by no means an expert on this particular key chain, but the one in the feebay auction is very similar to an original, but yet different.  The color, material type, font and font spacing is just a bit different than an original.  I am not sure if this key chain was reproduced over the years, but I have my doubts it's an original.  Notice the address is 1002 Princeton, same as the feebay auction key chain.

Here is a pic of a used original:
